You can take as many as you like. They won't hurt you as they're considered "food" herbs. But if you like a number, I'd say 3-5 a day.

Thank you Heidi for an informative and fun video subject❣Could you please tell us what is the name of the herb after burdock? Pintch pot?
@HeidiVillegas
@HeidiVillegas 7 ай бұрын
This is a really flexible recipe. I think I was using dandelion leaf and root, burdock root powder, and nettle with a bit of ginger powder (which is REALLY spicy, so cut back if you aren't into spice).

Thank you for this Heidi. I am wondering, what about heating herbs to activate their phytochemicals? Do I put the herbal pill candies in the oven to activate them?

Heidi...can I please ask your opinion on essential oils? On the sourcing side? I have heard that during growing they're possibly sprayed with pesticides to enhance, and speed up growth! it takes an enormous amount for a tiny amount of oil..🤔💚
@HeidiVillegas
@HeidiVillegas 7 ай бұрын
Oh, Sue....this is a topic of my heart. The only downside to the essential oil industry is that "Big Money" has gotten their hands on it. Yes, this is true. So, it's very important to source from extremely reputable companies who care about the small farmers. Not all small farmers can get an "organic" certification, but many practice excellent growing practices. I like to buy from companies who vet the farms and do NOT EVER buy from these businesses who source from companies who sell vats of the essential oil so these people can rebrand under their own name. It makes me crazy!

@@HeidiVillegas it's such a shame...I know DoTerra are probably our (UK) most accessible and popular brand... they've grown over the past few years as have weleda ...oh my! so hard to figure out who to trust🙏🏼 Thank you so much for your reply...I know you are a busy lady... absolutely love all you put out here😁🌞🌻

I actually believe that DoTerra and also Young Living are very careful about their essential oils. I'm not a distributor for either of them, but I do trust the quality. @@suefeatherstone5329

Does the plantain offer enough mucilage to offset the drying quality of nettle for someone with a dry constitution or would you recommend a substitute for nettle? ~ Michele
@HeidiVillegas
@HeidiVillegas 7 ай бұрын
Well, unless you're eating a TON of these (like Joe, LOL) you'll probably be ok. If you know that nettle is way overdrying to your constitution, then yes, adding the plantain can help, and so can marshmallow leaf or root.

Hello Heidi, I have watched this video a couple times and I couldn't see or hear which vitamins are in the herbs and spices you used to create your multivitamins. I heard you mention calcium in violet leaf but there wasn't violet leaf added. Please list the vitamins in your multivitamins. Thanks
@HeidiVillegas
@HeidiVillegas 7 ай бұрын
H, Sicily! I thought about that after I made the video, and I talked about vitamins in herbs in my newsletter on Wednesday. But the vitamins included in this mixture here would be: A, B's, C, D, E, and K in varying amounts. Minerals: calcium, magnesium, manganese, potassium, zinc and others. And then there are bioflavonoids and also some beneficial carbohydrates like pollysaccarides. There's also healthy fiber in the form of inulin in the dandelion and burdock root. So some research for more information, but that's a basic rundown. Now...remember, these aren't standardized like otc lab created ones are.

Almond butter or other nut butter, and molasses would be helpful. And the molasses contains iron.
