I've seen some people spray the adhesive and slowly roll the fabric behind the adhesive with someone spraying the adhesive just ahead of the fabric as it's unrolled to avoid getting wrinkles in the fabric. Thanks for the great video.

Old comment but very good point. This is a great technique with less forgiving materials, such as Daytona vinyl. It's much tougher to get wrinkles and puckers out of that stuff once it bonds.

I did the headliner on my chevy Caprice Landau, wasnt too bad. The hard part was getting it in and out

I took a wirewheel to the liner in my 82 c10. Swapped an American Flag in its place. Just picked a almost 400 dollar plastic liner for 100 bucks I plan to put in it after the truck is painted. Prolly be calling soon to get a ruff estimate quote from you guys. 😎👊

The way you did it is dangerous lol I always lay my material on the fiber board and pull it half way back glue half and then do the other half but good job guys

Heh heh "I'm not fat I'm easy to see" I'ma have to steal that one :) The reason you want both sides to be almost dry is because it's contact cement. Im' not sure how it works but I know that from doing countertops when I was doing construction. If it's still wet it doesn't dry I believe

This is just me, but if I smell tobacco I pass on it. That's just disgusting, and I hate having to clean up after someone else's horrible, self destructive habit. That's just extra work for me to make a used vehicle not disgusting to sit in. Tobacco smoke leaves that yellow residue EVERYWHERE. Don't even get me started on what that tobacco does to your teeth.

Yep, I was coughing and sneezing as I was removing the foam on mine ☹ ...no mask. Hands were all itchy too so must be been releasing fiberglass fibers in the process because the backer is fiberglass based with a foam inner core.
