This is just beautiful. I have a question can you link a good for beginners video here if you all have made one? When I watch the video you all already have the soap and lye done. I would like to watch one measured and the whole nine. Thank you!

While buying titanium dioxide or micas, what should we opt for - oil soluble / water soluble?
@bramble-berry9 ай бұрын
You can mix Titanium Dioxide with either water or oil, the results are comparable with either method. We recommend choosing one based on your recipe and when you are adding it to your batch.

So nice! When you say to cut the piping bag with a v shape- what does that mean? I don’t understand.
@bramble-berry7 ай бұрын
To make the leaf shape, we recommend cutting the tip of the piping bag in a v-shape. If you hold the piping bag facing you, you can cut 2 diagonal lines that meet in the middle, it'll look like a tiny triangle has been cut out when you're done.

What’s the best way to wrap CP soap? I know it doesn’t need plastic wrap like melt and pour. but I want to keep it sanitary and maintain the fragrance from escaping. Is shrink wrap recommended once fully cured or are small window boxed better? I don’t want soap to mold either if it’s shrink wrapped. I thought about storing in Tupperware until sold and shrink wrap as I go. Please help Thanks
@bramble-berry6 ай бұрын
You can shrink wrap cold process soap but you will want to leave the ends open to allow it to breath. It should not be fully enclosed.

Can we use kaolin clay to lighten the mixture??
@bramble-berry8 ай бұрын
Yes you can
@RebeccaTremblay-bm9rw9 ай бұрын
Would it be possible to shape the yellow balls into more of a lemon shape if you took them out of the mold a little sooner when they were still a bit soft and pliable? Or does that not work with glycerin soap?
@bramble-berry9 ай бұрын
We haven't tried it but we'd love to hear how it goes if you give it a try!
@peace1970haileybury9 ай бұрын
You could also buy a small thin lemon slice embed mold. I made a soap with some and it looks really pretty and would look super on this soap as well.

Hey there what is the titanium Dioxide for and can you omit it??
@bramble-berry8 ай бұрын
Titanium dioxide is a colorant to make the soap white, it's optional.

When using mica, shouldn’t you have a protective mask on? It can really damage your lungs
@bramble-berry6 ай бұрын
As long as it is not going airborne there should not be an issue with damage due to inhalation. We recommend scooping the mica pigment into your mixing containers, and then dispersing in oil before adding to your soap to prevent any mica poofs!
@rohinijai9 ай бұрын
Do u initially mix mica with oil or water?
@bramble-berry9 ай бұрын
For melt and pour soap, we like to mix 1 teaspoon with 1 tablespoon of 99 percent isopropyl alcohol. For cold process, we like to mix 1 teaspoon with 1 tablespoon of lightweight oil.

Why my soap is not harden after 3 days of making ?
@bramble-berry9 ай бұрын
Olive oil heavy soap can take a bit longer to harden, we love to add sodium lactate to this recipe to help it harden quickly. If it isn't ready to come out of the mold, you'll want to give it another day to harden some more before unmolding.
@kasie6808 ай бұрын
I put mine in the freezer if I’m impatient to unmould, it also stops marks and bangs on your loaf, then cut when it’s thawed 😊
