I finally turned a thrifted dress into a fitted mini dress. I am reviewing the sustainable shoe brand VIVAIA. I’d like to make this with a non stretch fabric and a zip at the back- do you have any advice for that?

What if i wanted to use a nonstretch fabric? would you recommend adding maybe a 12 inch zip to the back?

I recommend sizing up on the pattern and adding a 9” zipper at the side seam

So I have a question please if you don’t mind. What if your client is bigger than your dress form size?

I ask for my clients measurements and I just grade the flat pattern. Just a matter of adding to the side seams at the bust, waist, hip and lengthening where it is needed. You can also pad your dress form until it measures your client.
