at first i dont think its will drill through thick layers meterial untill you drill that wood plate, i also impressive that you pull out all small smd chips from pcb and soldered it with a wired, great art!
@procrasti86Ай бұрын
I have never seen anything quite as percise as this project I was mind blown as a kid when duracell introduced batteried with a charge level indicator But that was just a heating element and some thermochromic paint. Also designed and built by a huge corporation This... This is next level. You can't call it DIY any more. That doesn't do it justice
@policemanelle13 күн бұрын
The thickness of the oil sign pen is perfect for working and it will be easy to process. Then you can use the lid and when it's not in use. It's different and cute when you make it with batteries.

Masterpiece like always. One question, did you modify the charging current rate of the BMS? Cause the PCB board itself dissipate heat. Connecting them like this is a brilliant idea, but if it charges the battery with normal 0.5 or 1 A, the IC become hot and might melt some wire isolation.
@PenguinDIYАй бұрын
I attached the IC to the Type-C port, which cools the IC when it gets hot.
@OCDRex11Ай бұрын
Ok, I want to make this, we all do. But not all of us are Electrical Engineers and just recreate that PCB over the back of a USB-C lol. I want to, but there is no way. Like many of your battery related projects, you should design your own boards. Your sponsor want you to! lol

i wondered what he was doing there... can you please provide some context? Usually I've learned that we don't want bubbles in epoxide, so whe use slight impacts to get the bubbles to the top. But here is seems he was pumping in air into the syringe?
@ARCEYE78Ай бұрын
he was creating a vacuum which pulls any remaining air out of the resin, another process is to use pressure to compress bubbles small enough not to be seen but the resin needs to remain in the pressure vessel until cured and not ideal for this application, I use both techniques depending on what I’m making, my pressure vessel is a modified stainless steel 5l pressure cooker, I’ll pressurise it to around 60psi, works great 🙂

@Anish_SainiАй бұрын
This is super good. But the problem is that in total there is only 120mah which is low, especially for a drill. Its motor would need to work extra hard to drill things and consume even more power from battery but I can see you did your best by connecting 4x 30mah batteries in parallel to increase capacity.
@PenguinDIYАй бұрын
It can work with battery power for about 5 minutes, and it is also possible to connect a type C cable to it and work with cable power.
