You just blew my creative mind, Kat. If making 1:12 guitars wasn't cool enough, you made celebrity 1:12 scale guitars! How about Tom Petty's Rickenbacher 660/TP12 in Fireglo, or maybe a Brian Setzer hollow-body Gretsch? No...i got it... BB King's Lucille!! Rock on, Sista! 😄 You're a constant source of inspiration. 💕

Wow! You have no idea how close BB King's and Tom Petty's guitars came to getting made. I might have to make a second set of guitars.

haha! :D Dear Kat (I do hope my spelling is correct *blushes*) you know how quickly this could get out of hand, right? After mentioning what else I would LOVE to see show up in 1:12 scale, I started thinking about Stevie Ray Vaughn's signature Stratocasters, Junior Brown's incomparable "Guit-Steel" and then I proceeded to go way around the bend and fixated on Rick Nielsen's black and yellow-checkered 5-necked Hamer. Whew! I'll be anxiously awaiting the arrival of the 1:12 musical instrument shop. ;3

OMG!! OMG!! IMG!! This is what I’ve been looking for!! I’m trying to recreate a Mötley Crue concert! I wish to make Tommy’s drums, Nikki’s bass’, & Micks with Marshall amps, stacked HIGH, & microphones, with stage lights. Like a boxed miniature only obviously on a bigger scale. Thought of making a few of Nikki’s favorites & Mick’s just as they would be on stage. The stage lights I hope to actually make functional! And to top it off, I want to purchase one of those large 18-wheeler trucks they sell at truck stops, & paint it on the outside with Mötley Crue’s “Girls, Girls, Girls” Tour from 1987.

I so loooove your enthusiasm. I did a drum set, and the guitars and I keep meaning to do a keyboard, mic, speakers, etc., but other projects keep getting in the way.

Good job! And yes, those lines on the fingerboard (AKA neck) are called frets.

The "stick" on the red guitar is called a whammy bar, and rectangle things under the strings are called pick us 😊

You are a wealth of knowledge, Liz C. I love your comments because you always know the answers to my questions.
@chromeoiran9517 жыл бұрын
Sorry doll, the things under the strings are frets, or the fretboard. The only reason I know this is because my Son-in-Life is a Blues man. :) He's forgotten more things about guitars and the blues than I will ever know, as long as I live! haha Major kudos to you for knowing about the whammy bar, or tremolo, I couldn't remember the name of that thing for the life of me. But that's what gives an electric its voice. ;3
@Republic_Of_Vicoria_Official3 жыл бұрын
Pick us??? You mean Pickups. Autocorrect makes you sound like a complete dumbass lol (yes that was a joke)
@LADYJUSTICE504 жыл бұрын
Frets run along the neck. On an electric quitter,especially on a Fender Stratocaster all the nuts are on one side. The whammy bars are down by the foot bridge. 🎸❤️🕯

Where’s your Whammy Bar Hun? I’ve seen one made with a tiny piece of wire, or you can use a stick pin to add to your guitar! It’s so adorable!🎸❤️🕯

Thank you! Someone else pointed this out to me. I'm embarrassed that I missed it. I'm no real musician. Other than a clarinet in high school marching band, I've never paid much attention to music at all.

This is my second comment. But did you know that Jimi Hendrix actually custom painted his Stratocaster with nail polish? And he also owned a Flying V which I think he painted.

No! I did NOT know that. That's awesome.
@aWildJosh2135 жыл бұрын
Real Life Dollhouse Miniatures I also got to see a piece of his smashed guitar and his Flying V guitar at the metropolitan art museum. The guitar exhibit moves from one museum to another. If it goes on somewhere near you, maybe you can see all the awesome guitars that I saw.
