My Dad was a plumber by trade (He also could run heavy equipment...bulldozers, backhoes, cranes, etc.). For years he had his own plumbing and excavating service. He loved to tell me he got his plumbing license by going in to the licensing office and they asked him what he knew about plumbing. He said, "Hot's on the left, Cold's on the right, Crap don't flow uphill and payday's on Friday." Then he said they issued his license.

Have you ever considered a fancy bidet toilet seat? Like a Tushy. A hot water line to your toilet would be an awesome upgrade. If I ever have the occasion, I’m always going to run the hot water line to my toilet, just in case. “Future proofing,” my husband and I like to call it. When we did our last big renovation, we ran 100 amp service to our garage for an electric car we don’t own and gas lines to our kitchen and back deck for the gas stove and bbq we don’t own. 😆 But someday we might, or someday the next owners will appreciate our forethought.

Love seeing the progress with the plumbing and some additional wall framing. I sense the reno work on this side of the house is more relaxed and less stressful than the other side, since you are living right there and have your family helping you more. Everyone will appreciate it when it's done and will take pride in knowing they helped make it happen.

So stoked to see the "other side of the house" progressing so well. I'd recommend adding a plug to your cold water drain off the manifold. Don't want to risk flooding the basement with only one ball valve being the sole failure.

I love all your sound effects...is that what I should call them. I often make them too as I’m working. Sometimes I start giggling as I’m wondering what it may sound like to others. Have you considered using 3/8" plex to each feature instead of 1/2"? I think the faster warm up time and less waste would more than compensate for slightly more pressure loss. I am a fan of "Supply House" also.
