Always great stuff Tommy! If you own a 958 Cayenne it’s a bit different when reinserting the needle. It clicks in regardless of the angle you put it in, just make sure to align it at zero and it will function fine. The cayman and macan seem to only lock in at a specific point.

Tommy just swapped my rpm face but after putting everything back … no power to cluster. Checked the instrument cluster fuse all good. Ideas other than taking it apart again? Checking plugs .. jeez
@TommyLGarage4 ай бұрын
I would suggest take it apart. Something must be unplugged
@richiemata71694 ай бұрын
On the 3rd try, finally got power! Likely one of the plugs wasn’t seated right (I had 2, one like yours and an apple green one in the opposite side). So Relieved! I had to remove the steering wheel as I just didn’t have room to pull the cluster out even on the first try. Pulling out the shroud to get to the 4 screws was a challenge. Found that inserting a finger in between the top of the leather dash and the top of the shroud was the key so I could pull it out. Anyway, appreciate the reply and your video gave me confidence to do this. A couple weeks ago I changed the face of the sports chronograph and matching the tach face was a must. Cheers!!
