Nu šaunuolis, tvarkingai video padarei. Tik vienas niuansas, man rodos per ilgas, tikrai teko kelis kartus prasukinėti video nes nusibosta.. Mano manymu jei kursi ateityje daugiau ilgesnius skelk į kelias dalis :) Žinoma, čia tik mano asmeninė nuomonė. Sėkmės darbuose.

Labas, Ernestai! Dėkoju už komentarą ir išsamią nuomuonę tuo pačiu :) Sutinku, video ko gero gavosi ilgokas ir nuobodus, tačiau trumpinau kiek tik galėjau, ko gero ateity reiks iškirpt daugiau dalių. Ačiū!

@revog77 жыл бұрын
i think the passive radiator woulda worked if it was sealed properly, it wasnt moving any to any of the music which means it wasnt a good seal
@DonnyTerek7 жыл бұрын
I do agree, it is probably due to the lack of proper sealing. Learning from mistakes! 😉
@revog77 жыл бұрын
all good i just know it doesnt sound as tinny if the seal is good. did good tho i liked the look
@Toid7 жыл бұрын
That may not be entirely true. It may be due to sealing. It also could be due to the tuning frequency of the passive radiator. Did you do any tests to see where it was tuned to? Most people just assume a PR will work with any speakers, but just like a port, it is tuned to a certain frequency. I did a WinISD series on how to properly tune a PR, if you are interested. It is a little more complicated than just putting a PR in a box with speakers.
@DonnyTerek7 жыл бұрын
I do agree that it may be due to sealing and PR tuning. This build was mainly done to check if the electronics would work properly , but no calculations have been done. I am now working on a smaller project and doing calculations for the proper volume of the enclosure. I will look into your videos, they are really helpful!

Hey Donny terek since I don't have tools for cutting wood can I use hard plastic foam board for the box ? Btw is it good?

You can definitely substitute the wood with plastic but it will probably sound boxy due to low stiffness of the enclosure.

Great project!! I want to make a battery pack with 3ps of 18650 and 1500mAh capacity what protection board i will need?
@DonnyTerek7 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank You! You will basically need a simple 3S protection board with the minimum rating of 3A I would say (3S stands for three cells in series in a battery pack) which I have included in the parts list.
@nickd.51717 жыл бұрын
Donny Terek If i use one with 10A i will have any problem with the charge and the discharge and how you calculate the A which needs?
@DonnyTerek7 жыл бұрын
No, you won't have problems because of that. Just make sure you get a power supply capable of delivering 12.6V for charging if you are making a 3s battery pack.
@nickd.51717 жыл бұрын
Donny Terek Ok and whats the difference with the A?
@DonnyTerek7 жыл бұрын
It is the amount of current that the board can safely pass through.

That's sound cool ! Vynil and carbon is a great idea ! However, I believe your video is a bit long, some plans could been shortened or accelerated without decrease the understanding, but that would allow a better fluidity ! (in my opinion) Furthermore, i'm not sure it's a very good idea to put aluminium on the back of the battery controller ! ... (Even if it is covered with paint)
@DonnyTerek7 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you so much for watching! I agree with you, that the video is quite too long. Hello Friend. Your project was very interesting but from what I know about audio components, I had some doubts. First: I think it is not recommended to associate sound components (woofer + tweeters) with different impedances. The woofers have 4 ohms each and the tweeters have 6 ohms. What do you think about it?! Second: Your amplifier module has a minimum impedance of 8 ohms, and if you use components with an impedance lower than this, you will risk burning your amplifier because it will be forced to deliver more power than what was designed. The rule I know is: the minimum impedance of the amplifier must always be equal to or less than the minimum impedance of the speaker set. Third: Do you have the link from where you purchased that white vibration-absorbing foam? I do not know the name of this material. Fourth: Do you have the wiring diagram? Congratulations on the project !! It's very cool. If you can consider these points I mentioned will be of great help, because we will exchange knowledge and help me in a project similar to yours that I want to do. Big hug friend!!
@DonnyTerek7 жыл бұрын
Hi! I have also heard about this but so far the speaker works great and the amplifier doesn't seem to have any issues delivering the power to the speakers. Unfortunately I do not have a link for the white foam padding, I salvaged it from an old set of speakers. Yes, I do have a wiring diagram, you can check my Instructables page in the video description ;) Thank you once again and good luck to you!
@francopieruccinifaria94547 жыл бұрын
Now that I have seen that in your instructions you have provided two links to amplified boards, one from amazon and one from banggod, and they seem to be a bit different. So, Could you to confirm which is exactly the amplifier module you used, as well as the bluetooth module and the speakers? :)) According on your connection scheme that has the components and their images, some of them are different compared to the actual image of the purchase links of the product you provided. Especially the bluetooth module which in the connection diagram shows the connection location of the isolated conversor, the p2 auxiliary connection, the connection that goes to the amplifier module, the led and the button on and off. If you could put a little zoom in on these connections points and say me the exact model of the bluetooth and the amplifier, as well as the brand and model of the speakers, it would be extremely helpfull !!! Thanks a lot. ;)
@DonnyTerek7 жыл бұрын
Hi! Since I was unable to find the same exact amplifier board in Amazon and Banggood, I have placed a link of a similar amplifier module that will work just fine. Also, as I have mentioned in my Instructable, I was unable to place a link of the same exact speaker drivers that I have used because I have salvaged the speakers from an old set of Creative Inspire P5800. But the bluetooth module is the same exact one as in the links. I simply removed the plastic housing, exposing the bare module. As you can see in the video, I soldered the leads from the auxiliary port, the on off button and the led of the bluetooth module. I hope this helped, good luck!

I think the passive radiator is much more efficient if you would have placed it on the other side of the box. And if you add a extra weight to the passive radiator the boombox sould amplifie the low frequences much better, but the bass would not be that percise. This technique is used by other comercial portable speakers.
@berserker3417 жыл бұрын
Benedikt Schwab He needs to use better speaker to get better bass because as you can see the passive radiator is barely moving at max volume.
@DonnyTerek7 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you for watching, I appreciate your comments. I agree, since this build was on a budget, I used a pair of old speakers who lack performance in low frequencies. Next time I will use better speakers with far greater excursion!
@benediktschwab49887 жыл бұрын
true that
@digibluh7 жыл бұрын
bigger too, they're usually bigger than the main drivers and if you have two drivers then you definitely need two of those radiators not one.
@berserker3417 жыл бұрын
digibluh yea but as you can see he has only one passive radiator and it's barely moving .. If he would replace the speakers with some dayton speakers then he would need 2 passive radiators

Hey nice work and thanks for sharing. I have one problem with bluetooth speaker that I made. When I turn volume all the way up, suddenly everything drops out, just like loosing power. Do you have such experience and did you use large capacitor to prevent this problem? I tried 1000uF and I did not success to prevent droping at high volumes :) All the best ...
