DIY wooden Post to Hang Patio String Lights. How to make a wood post for light hanging. I build a box using slats, fill it with gravel and add a post to support my solar powered Patio String Lights set. (Costco). A great way to spruce up your outdoor living space. Cheers!

I really like the video. Would you consider more of an instructional format. I'd really like to recreate the project but, no measurements etc. were provided. A lot of viewers do not have the access to speciality tools and are novice looking to learn.

Hi, yes I considered that for this video, but the box size is completely random and because there are so many planter variations I really was trying to show the idea and method. I struggle with how much detail to show in each video, and whether to include alternative methods for construction. I’ve included those things in many of my previous simpler builds.
