Please do not follow this rear toe adjustment 'by eye' method. Rear toe is generally 1 to 2 degrees positive (toe in) and both wheels should the same toe +/- 0.5 degrees as a rule. (Driving forces the wheels out a little at the front so normal driving needs positive toe to balance this). If you can measure an angle to within 1 degree just by looking at it you're amazing. Sorry Smeedia but this bad advice. If you must do this as a DIY job look at the string method videos on the channel and be sure to get you parallel lines very, very accurate to stand even half a chance of getting close to the correct toe angles and measure off the rims not the tyres. Also, get an angle to millimetre conversion chart that works by wheel diameter so you can set the angle properly.

I followed these steps as best as I could (no adjustable arms, just the bolts for both) and now my car wobbles from side to side. I assumed the bolts might have not been tightened all the way so went back to double check. They're all tight, but it still wobbles. Any suggestions before I attempt to drive this thing to an alignment shop?

If your just using the bolts you womt be able to get much adjustment out of them. How far off is your Toe on the car and what is your camber set to?

I took 2016 Camry le in for an alignment. Was told the rear toe bolt is seized so they couldn’t do the alignment. I’ve been researching like crazy on what’s the best thing I can do to get it fixed? Is there a part I can just replace and be done with it? Please help. I’m no mechanic and I’m just trying to get my car running best for my wife and kids. Car pulls to the right so I know alignment is needed.

If it is sized, soak that bolt in PB blaster, TBH it sounds like thr shop was a little lazy, with a little heat and some oenetrsting oil most bolts will come out, worst comes to worst it will need to be drilled out and the bolt will need to be replaced

I’m just having a hard time finding out which bolt they are saying it’s seized. I haven’t messed with the car at all but if I’m not mistaken the car has the adjustable control arm/link which is how i THOUGHT the toe was adjusted, just like yours in this video, so what bolt could they be referring to as being seized Up? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated brother.

There's is an eccentric bolt on stock suspension that will adjust toe but I have never seen one get sized before

Best thing to do for a seized bolt is torch gun. Extractor tools would be last resort

I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 coupe that was hit in drivers side quarter panel. There left rest shock was bent. I purchased a used knee assembly and swapped everthing out including camber correctors but now the rear wheel is toed in. If you have an email I can send you some pictures. Any idea why the rear wheel is toed in?

I normally start with height, then camber then toe. You can get pretty far with an eye ball alignment 😁

No, they're independent from one another. Toe would have to be set on every corner for a full alignment

@@Smeedia the garage let one rear toe out said it was okay but I don't like it makes the car rear pull right on to other cars , can I twist my adj, toe arm in some with out going back for a four wheel alignment it's . Rear toe is +7 other one is + 17 passenger side rear.right. they should be at 15 but they only stop soon as it touches the green

rear toe by eye ???? dont do that. the rear adjustment is the most important and you cant do it by eye ..... and you want more negative camber for more grip around corners

1-2 degrees is what I shoot for and this alignment was ti get the car to the alignment rack. The toe was messing with the car and needed to make it drivable to get it up the rack 🔥
