This was such a great idea. I used it to make ornaments out of my Mother's costume jewelry as a way to memorialize her. She passed in December 2018. She had jewwalery from the 50's and I couldn't wear the clip earrings cause they hurt my ears. I watched this video end of December when I was deep in grief but seeing this helped me make some lovely ornaments to send out to al my family. Thank you!!!

OMG, you probably won't read this...but last summer I watched your video on dying a couch Bohemian Blue. Bought this awesome love seat, autumn Gold colored from this little old lady and it was in perfect non smelly condition. Brought the seat cushion to an upholster to recover in funky fabric and proceeded to order your Boho Blue paint and did 4 layers on the couch , and it looks AWESOME!!!!!! Thanks for that video.

Hi Debi! Love the shell ornaments. This year for my tree I used bits of driftwood hung using a screw hook and string, for a very organic look. After Christmas I plan to return the driftwood to the beach. I have already begun to collect driftwood for next year to dry it out. I will also return that wood back to nature. Zero waste Christmas tree. No storage of ornaments required.

I made ornaments using acrylic 1/2 rounds that come apart. I used patterned cardstock and a variety of die cuts and stickers then used my embossing powder pillow to cut back on the static electricity before filling with chunky glitter to simulate snow before gluing the cardstock and 1/2 round together. Then I used red/white twine to go around the base before making a bow and hanger. Since they lie flat they are great hanging on a door knob!

enjoyed your story. the ornaments are fantastic. I need to make some with my horded vintage baubles. I crafted a Christmas flower arrangement today using a black basket shaped like a snowman hat that I got at Goodwill for 99 cents. Thrifted a showman ornament which i repainted with chalk paint. I added Christmas greenery, 2 red and black plaid pointsettias, snowflakes I put on wire sticks, white pom poms also put on wire (snow balls). The snowman I put front and center.

We have lots of kid made ornaments from all the years they would make them at church and school. We have glass balls in different colors, and little ornaments we have bought over the years because are kids loved, and a lot of dollar tree ornaments. I dont have a themed tree I use to but probably never will again. Christmas is about the kids in our house so we just want to let them decorate the tree and add whatever they want on the tree.

Thank you so very much for putting in the effort by making more (wonderful, entertaining, fabulous) videos. I hope you have finally realized how gifted you are in this area and how the creativity and talent just oozes out of you in your videos. I have ALWAYS watched your videos and I admire you tremendously. (and you make me laugh). I missed an opportunity to visit your shop (and maybe you) several years ago (my sister and I were returning to Palm Desert from San Diego after a quick little trip to Mexico). We zipped past your shop (COLOUR and madness!) there was no mistaking it...but alas we were on a deadline so I didn’t mention it to my sister. I think of that missed opportunity every time I see you on my wee screen or pass any fun or quirky store. I know how hard you work and what a struggle owning a creative business is (I owned a vintage/antique shop in Victoria BC while raising a bunch of kids). Keep up the good work regarding the videos as time and energy permits. You are appreciated and loved. ...hope that doesn’t sound weird or creepy...just Canadian. Wishing you a Merry and Happy Christmas from 🇨🇦 PS I have dozens and dozens of perfectly different snowflakes my grandmother crocheted... and starched years ago...AND...hand painted, primitive angel heads with wings from Mexico that I bought when I was 18. Thank you again PPS. I am going to try some of your paint after the New Year. So excited!!! oxo
