DIY Fuel sending unit hatch take caution, take your time, and if you do you will have quick access to your sending unit when it counts without having to drop the tank and siphon the gas and do all that extra stuff just to have access. It's not for everyone it just definitely work's for me

i have a 89 box with a plastic tank i believe it’s a 91 bubble gas tank, can i use the bubble caprice fuel pump and assembly or do i have to buy a box chevy gas tank with a box pump and assembly

Is there a vent solenoid anywhere for the Chevy if so where cause when I get done driving, I can open my tank and it starts sucking air in...

No there's just a vacuum to one of the three twos is actually for vacuum line it does Lidl I'll be up to the front of the engine if you go into your car and Trace the tubes one of those 3 will be the vent line

Synamon And Dj they are different carborated or fuel injection but they are all in the same location

Only if the fuel pump stop working as in it stops pumping the level indicator doesn't stop the car from running it just stops you from knowing how much gas is in your car

I change the fuel pump the distributor cap ignition and it just turns no start I did notice the fuel line to the carburetor there no gas in the carburetor

@@Lifeofrobbie84 one time I change the distributor cap on mines and it wouldn't start because of distributor cap had the car firing in the wrong order because it wasn't straight make sure the distributor cap is back on the exact Wade came off if you have a carburetor that's not a fuel injected version there wouldn't be any gas in there because you got to pump the gas to Prime the carburetor that model that I did this sending unit hatch on had a TBI carburetor so was fuel injected if your fuel filter is clogged which is under the car usually on the passenger side rail that was stop it from starting also it could be your starter if that went bad then it would stop it from starting

It should be under the trunk where the hump is close towards the back seat the location of the pump is in the trunk area when you slide under your car you'll see the tank it should be a square with two metal straps holding it to the car when I did this I loosened the tank straps just enough to let the Tank come down a little bit and then I proceeded to line up my cuts
