Looks really good you guys. Nice job. Not sure what you use for music in the shop, but you could easily mount a couple of small speakers up underneath for surround sound. Maybe Bluetooth/wireless. Get the shop rock'in. Looking forward to Part 3

Since installing the new racks have you done in structural tests on them just to see what if any flexing is occurring under a load? Better to find out now than down the road when you load it up other potentially heavier things.

What kind of press would be best to push the cores out of the transformers. Do they sell something like your second press? The problem with the first one is I don’t think I can make a harbor freight 20 ton do the job of pushing the cores out due to there being a solid block underneath.

There is not a solid block underneath. It should be open so you can push stuff through. most presses are like that. My 2nd press is custom made.

Where did you get the shelves??? The look like they came from a warehouse I used to work in. The management were big Auburn Tiger 🐯 fans and ordered them in orange and blue color. Company later went out of business.

I think most industrial racking is orange and blue in colour.

I don’t know much about engineering but do you have too much weight on the bolts? Houses are built so the weight is in 2x4’s not the nails.
