Great video, I've watched a few dozen videos on making welding tables, but they're either too big or too complex for the amount of welding I do, but this one looks like just what I need. I watched your first video on the big table, and I was on the edge of my seat, waiting for something really dramatic to happen because I'd read the comments first, and the way people were reacting I was sure you were going to the hospital, but all those Nancy's were overreacting. If one bandage covered all the damage after completing a project that big, that's a huge win in my garage. I got a C by the way on that.

As a former pro welder.. the only best stool for welders is three feet chair, either with rollers on non, with bearings so it rotates on fixed... . The advantage of three foot(leg) chair was floor stability than four feet(leg) chair, four lef chair is only good on flattened floor with very good accuracy..while three legged chair can stand firmly and stable on flat and rough ground... .

If you run a welding filter over your camera and you cut out the distortion on the video. But apart from that a very good video, especially with the measurements in both imperial and metric (centre meters) most measurements in metric are given in millimetres (mm).
@TheImprovementChannel2 жыл бұрын
I appreciate your comment, I am trying to add the metric measurements going forward. I use an iPhone, what kind of filter would you recommend?
@philipburrows2 жыл бұрын
@@TheImprovementChannel on the filters use out of a handheld fixed filter mask, say like for gas welding goggles for a far off view and a arc or a mig filter for close up shots, you could also up the frame recording speed say like from 60 fps to 120 fps or 160 fps to cut down on the interference when welding. The welding filters are great for getting that arc shot, the fps can cut out the flickering and the distortion of the picture, the other side of it is have the mig weld far away from the camera as the high electrical frequency can affect the viewing of the recording.
