It's actually funny this video happened to pop up in my feed considering I'm planning to build myself a IFAK for myself.

people spend thousands on rifles, scopes, night vision, body armor, and cool guy gear stuff, but cheap out on med gear. folks, spend the money and time getting the training! if you can attend a 3 day shooting course, you can attend a 3 day life saving trauma medical class. or comprehensive first aid class. you'll also learn what medical gear you should have, and where your money should be spent. i am a basic EMT, and i have so much to learn. i would love to have some time learning from these guys. thanks for having them come on and talk about this kit.

This video made me realize how lacking my kit is lacking severely while I thought it was adequate. Maybe my favorite video

For a moment I thought, JJ, you're cracking open the ''Big Ol Red''..., but you love your mystery... lol. Anyway, I like the bag... smart design and practical, I use a normal 30 lt backpack with Molle all around it because, you know... ''compartmentalization''... one thing I did was to combine it with a drop leg base using Molle 'cause I like to keep my hands free. I've got to clear that I'm not a trained professional like you guys are... the idea is ''what would I need in case of emergency while away from everything!... to treat me, or someone else. I do have some training though... enough to know I need more! My bag is to fix a problem, not to send it to a hospital... there's no hospital waiting in my worst-case scenario... I fix it or I lose it! That's why that's the bag that I hope I'll never need... One thing that I use [I've learned it in the Army] is ''Gentian Violet''[extract of the plant Gentian] it stops the bleeding, prevents [or stops] disinfection, and most importantly speeds up the natural process of closing a wound, leaving minimal scar [maybe a discoloration ] I've treated multiple wounds with it mine and others... it's also great for even the worst cases of burning... I've treated so many of those... but the first application on freshly cut nerves hurts like Hell... the second not so much... I never needed more than four... this thing is pure ''elixire''... magical! That's why nobody promotes it... that and the fact that it's cancerogenic... IF USED INTERNALY! So only external use... Great video all and all, but guyzzz ''body language''...! When you see Brandon, JJ talk to him about the ''Mylar-lined umbrella''... that's something that only you can do... I made my own, but the reason I came up with it is watching people on videos struggling with a solution to ''thermal'' and failing... maybe together with your connections, you'll find a way to make it accessible to the community... Stay safe out there!

Learned a lot! No way can I absorb all this without watching it multiple times ... I will. Kudos for not holding back on the servings of REALITY.

I loved the toss over the shoulder and JJ catching it. LOL! I love your sense of fun and humor guys. Makes it easier to watch and get the great information. The scrolling info on the guys was a nice a touch too, and WOW! High achievers :)

Loved ❤ the info. Thank you! 😂 I've bought alot of stuff that I have no idea how to use and will not, 😢 (surgical) but after the collapse I may run into someone who does. Meanwhile, I need to find good stop bleed training. 😊
