When is NVX going to promote a video showing their 'new' DSP (w/ Bluetooth audio streaming capability)? It looks like an amazing value, would be a much better deal for a few dollars more, like $30 more, if they did an app version for the platform/interface instead of just the "button" menu version. I guess I'm dropping a hint that we need a video, wink wink, if NVX sponsors the equipment... @$170 currently. Inquiring DIYers want to know :D

Hello I am just reaching out to several people I am dealing with some interesting acoustical properties that are quite complex and innovative I'd love to have a conversation about it

Glad you are humble enough to both admit your mistakes & to learn from them. Good lessons here folks pay attention.

Nothing wrong with making mistakes as long as you fix them.

@@DIYAudioGuyAbsolutely 👍 I learned to be careful with the drill when installing my subs. Punctured the surround on one 😥 some gorilla tape fixed it and it slams almost 2 years later 😁 You live, you learn.

People dont realize whats cheap today was basically common place in what you found at Best Buy or Circuit City pre year 2000 and for a hell of alot more money! You honestly dont want behemoth stacked magnet subs if your working with stock electrical either. If I gave my sub $100 single audiopipe 15" its max rated power, im already pushing what my alternator can handle.
@DIYAudioGuy2 ай бұрын
This is true. 30 years ago these would have been badass subwoofers. You could barely afford the amp to push them. A lot has changed in the last 30 years.

Get a clicker or a snapple lid to make a pop or snap sound, then import all the audio tracks with the video. The crack pop snap works as a good sharp point to align the clips

It's a software problem. I'm using an elgato, teleprompter and 4K camera, it all runs through their software and they've got a known glitch that causes lag. A lot of people who stream video games to twitch have been complaining about it. I just updated the software and the firmware for the camera I hope that fixes the issue.

I've noticed the same problem with those crimpers too. I do use it like you did in the video

Apparently they're adjustable! The next time I use them. I'm going to try adjusting them.

Recently I built a 90liter box tuned to like 24hz, decided to throw in 2 8s because the winisd graph looked promising and it delivers. Very windy with about 80w per sub. The subs are rated at 100w RMS. It sadly cant float a bag, but it does move the bag and hair well.

Back in the early 2000's, when I was in my late teens / early 20s, I had a Ford Escort hatchback that I installed a pair of 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch subs in a bandpass box, along with a good Fosgate amp. That thing hit so hard that it literally rattled your eyeballs, making everything look extremely blurry! Had to keep it turned down while driving just so I could see where I was going 😂

How do you get your circles? Router jig? Or draw..and router carefully? Also after you drill the pilot holes do you vacuum the box?

I would recommend the Keda Wood Dye kit. It’s only $25 and gives you most colors. It’s easy to alter after you have it mixed as well. Fun video, thanks!
