Used rinse less wash for the first time today along with the sponge. Man it was slick and much easier and quicker to clean up and put everything up when I was finished. Sure we will still use our microfiber wash mitts and foam cannon. But this is an awesome way to clean the car also. Also used the spot remover. Did not do the spray on a dry panel and work it in with a towel option. Sprayed it on the wet car after the wash and let it dwell for a minute and rinsed it off. Thank you for showing us that we can do it this way as well. The products are so versatile. Sure doing this part of the job will probably be more effective when doing this with a dry panel and spraying the spot remover on it and working it in with a towel. But it’s nice to still be able to do it this way also. We have a ceramic coating and there were some light spots on the car that you cannot see unless you look hard for them. Many are gone and the rest that are still there we will work them out with a machine one day soon Gotta say this is the most fun I have ever had with washing my vehicle and using products These products are awesome. Thanks Yvan & Nick. You both work so well together. As one person put it. Nick does a great job leading the questions for those beginners and those who are learning more than they did before.

I recently purchased the rinseless kit, 5 year ceramic kit, ceramic maintenance kit. While I was waiting for them to show up, I saw one of your videos had a red "Jewlers pad" for polishing. The kit I have came with the yellow pad and gold standard polish. My truck is fairly new, low miles, and just a few swirl marks. Will the yellow pad be too aggressive? Should I get the red pad? I haven't used the products yet, due to weather and my GMC 3500hd crew cab long bed doesn't fit in my garage. They smell great, and im looking forward to using them. Bought the Gold Standard polish and yellow waffle pads. The spray nozzle that came on the bottle didn't have a spray pattern option, only a stream that was way to heavy so I had to use one of my own nozzles to get a spray. The yellow waffle pad couldn't remove even the finest little scratches that could only be seen with perfect light even with 3 passes. Had to switch to a medium polish pad. The polish is OK but I'd skip the yellow pad for sure.

rinseless + sponge. Rinseless lifts the dirt. Sponge absorbs the lifted dirt, and when you squeeze, it flushes it out. In comparison, other mitts don’t really do the same. Like when you wring a towel, the outside layer might push it out, but the dirt on the inside layer is compressed.

My problem with gloves(and maybe it'll be fixed when I do a Rinseless wash) is that the cut isn't tall enough to get my wash media to the grit guard to scrub on, then I just end up with the wash solution trapped in the glove. Maybe I'm doing it wrong? I'm sure the squeezing out of the sponge, and the subsequent fast escaping wash solution, also contributes to the sponge leaving the dirt behind.
@diydetailofficial5 ай бұрын
With DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash and the Legacy Sponge, no need to dunk that deep. Just dunk and lift and the sponge is clean, by the time you squeeze you’re just removing solution.

How come you guys didn’t use iron remover?

They mentioned that in the video. This car had just been decontaminated and detailed by the dealer. The car just sat on the Dealer's parking lot. all they had to do is knock the dust off of it

Ceramic gloss smells sooooo good like candy. But I have a feeling it cant be good to breath in.

Don’t stick your nose in the bottle, but the fragrance while applying is just that, a fragrance.

@@diydetailofficial unfortunately most are unaware that anything we smell our liver has to break down. Fragrance can be incredibly hard on us as it coats the naval with a synthetic oil. This can wreak havoc on the indocrine system for both men and women, and could overtime result in brain cell damage and disrupted hormone production. For men in particular its great at killing testosterone. Interestingly enough since synthetic fragrance has gotten popular (as well as fluoride and all the other chemicals they feed us) one could observe a society where men are becoming more docile and feminine all the way down to thinking they're women. So as much as I love your products (including their scents), its not "just a fragrance" All in good faith, we should care about our health otherwise the pharmaceutical companies put more money in their pockets that they dont need, with more poison that we dont need. As detailers were exposed to some nasty stuff its important we understand the repercussions and that PPE is so important for us!

I know you guys now say DIY is now on Amazon and I do see somewhat of an Amazon direct store.. but it still seems half baked. A lot of the items are either out of stock, sold by a third party (no Prime), or you guys increased the price vs your website. For example Rinseless is 16.99 on your site but on Amazon it’s 20.99? Also a lot of stuff is missing. What we want is DIY prices, sold by DIY direct, via Amazon with Prime - and your *entire* lineup. Not just 1 or 2 products.

We can’t afford to sell for the same price on Amazon as our store. We would have to pay to sell there. Shipping on Amazon is not free, it gets charged to the seller.

Rinseless is still better than drive thru carwash

Still alot of defects in the paint.

Remember when you polish , you don’t remove defects, you remove the clearcoat down to the lever of the defect.

Use 7-8 sponges/wash mitts, do not re-dip into wash bucket

What happened to “never use a sponge on your car”?
@diydetailofficial5 ай бұрын
That died 16 years ago when I engineered the first Rinse less Wash sponge. You dish or grout sponge, no. This is designed specifically for the purpose of safely and efficiently detailing.
