Joe has worked his arse off since a young kid, he is revered and admired by the greats, he is one talented man, and a true gent to boot, raised well by his mum and dad, practice and dedication to his art, with a fantastic inane feel for music. Love the guy

I'm sure glad I don't know the 26 tasteless people who dislike this. I love it and I haven't heard anything by Joe that I haven't loved. Don't expect I ever will. He's coming to my city soon. I'm not sure I can afford the ticket but hey JOE, I'm 65 years old now and you've been added to my bucket list .

Only 108,312 views, only 615 likes... A true shame indeed for such a phenomenal song and such a phenomenal guitarist, Joe, if you read this, I hope you know that you changed my life for the better, and I would not be the musician I am today if it weren't for your inspirations, so thank you. You helped me find my love of the blues, even if you don't know who I am, but I know who you are. I absolutely love your music, and I wouldn't be the same person today had you decided to not play guitar, so again, thank you.

This song had the hairs raise on my head today......I had to stop in my tracks and feel the beauty without moving a muscle. It was literally stunning. Then I read the lyrics and blew my mind again; as it fits exactly to the mountain romance I had up here in the mountains with a man I loved so dearly who has since passed away. He is the man who took me to see Joe B. but Joe didn't play it when we saw him. Baby I hope you can hear this song from where you are now. Now YOU are the golden eagle.

Got this song (right of the live at Beacon Theatre album) on my Ipod for years but never actually listened to it.. Today as I was taking a relaxed hike in the mountains (I normally do trailrunning, but I hadn't been in good shape the last days) this came in the playlist and I suddenly felt connected like I'd never been before... I had to start to run and after the INCREFIBLE solo at around 9:30 I completely lost it. I began to run along the path as fast as I could until I was completely out of breath and I felt like I was physically affected by the beautifulness of that amazing song.. ❤

A moment where in my opinion everything fell into place and luckily recorded. I had never heard of Mr. Bonamasa until he was on Guitar Center Sessions and shortly after his Beacon Theater TV special. A masterpiece. But in this expression of a classic tune instead of playing what is arguably the most beautiful guitar music ever written ( 8.00 mins to about 9.30 mins) Joe gives a master class in dynamics. Brilliant, but not what I wanted to hear. For clarification listen to the version on 'Live From Nowhere in Particular' I defy you not to have tears in your eyes such is the emotion expressed in that version.

FYI... The first part of this is India, not Django. It seems to be mislabeled on a lot of KZbin videos for some reason. Django is the opening song on the Royal Albert Hall album, the combined India/Mountain Time is the 18th track on the double album.
@MyJettson9 жыл бұрын
Erik Harris YOU are wrong Erik. This IS Django! It is on the DVD and the CD! They may sound similar to you but they are NOT, and this most certainly IS Django!
