"Woke Up Dreaming" Woke up dreaming, I was gonna die. Woke up dreaming, I was gonna die. ‘Cause my baby said her, Said her last goodbyes. Reached out for her, And she was not there. Reached out for her, And she was not there. Lord I miss her body, And her long brown hair. Heart rate fallin' - river flood, Black cat bawlin' - moon drippin' blood. Woke up dreamin', I was gonna die. All my sins abound me, It's my turn to cry. Yeah... [Pickin' Break] Devil's risin', You don't have a chance. Devil's risin', You don't have a chance. Where there's fiddles playin', Shake your bones and dance. I just want to, Live another day. I just want to, Live another day. See that brown-haired woman, Comin' back this way. Oh Yeah...

That Guitar must be at least 6" thick and just huge. The sound is incredible.
@tasu45715 жыл бұрын
Look carefully at the sound hole. There is something fully the same diameter and matt black just inside. I don't regularly read comments under videos, but because of the stunning depth and brilliance of the sound and having spotted the *whatever it is* inside (mic? pickup) I am now searching the comments for info. Good ears, James
@carl-ok9gn5 жыл бұрын
@@tasu4571 the black thing is called a feedback buster. it's just a rubber plug that helps block sound from coming into and out of the hole as the guitar is an acoustic electric which means it has a pickup and preamp inside and the signal is pushed out the bottom of theguitar where the strap is via that 1/4" cable. if he wasn't using it, the sound from the loud venue pa would go back into his guitar and cause feedback, like pointing electric guitar pickups at an amp. however, the sound you're hearing is nothing like what the guitar naturally sounds like unplugged. the signal is receiving a bit of gain, A LOT of compression, and reverb both from the venue and possibly in the signal chain. the compression is from a compressor, a tool used in recording and live music, commonly on a guitar pedal board for players, or rack mounted units in studios or at the sound desk at the venue. it makes all the sound coming from the guitar's electronics to be even in volume-from the quietest overtone you may not easily make up normally, to the string mute, buzz, and bass. it gets rid of volume dynamics and substitutes it with tone dynamics. if he wasn't using it, you wouldn't be able to hear part of what he plays and the sound would be COMPLETELY different. in essence, what you two are talking about is a completely synthesized sound and not the guitar.
