Today we take a look around Defence Fulfilment Centre, Hortonwood 50, Hadley, Telford TF1 7GY.
We follow the footpath and obey the signs until we meet security.
We mention the out of date terror threat level and question the security guards capability before we walk back out onto the public footpath.
We spot number plate in the car park which at the time I thought was Illegal, then the MOD Police arrive.
We are told we are not flying the drone by the police but we explain the reasons why we can lawfully fly here.
The drone goes around and we all leave on good terms.

@@DJAUDITS Hi DJ The red GBM is issued to Isle of Man cars. Manx plates must in include "MN" or "MAN" Wikipedia, "Isle of Man car registrations" for full details. He must change the plates to legal ones for the mot ( this car was round Peterborough area a year or so ago )

What people don't realise is if the police get any sort of identifying facts from you, IMEI numbers, drone numbers, telephone numbers, tattoos etc are all logged and put on local systems and PNC so are searchable. The drone number once associated with you means they don't need to go through the CAA, who may or may not divulge your information.

Hello. While I'm not 100% certain, I think this is a standard UK plate made to look like an IoM one. I lived there for a bit. As DJ showed, this is a car with a UK tax and annual MOT, which it's had. IoM cars don't need an MOT as this is a GB reference that doesn't equate over there. IoM use a roadworthy examiniation, which is a bit different in term of timing and relates to import etc but private cars used for private means don't need annual roadworthy examinations if kept licenced. I'd be amazed if an IoM car was MOT'd annually when in the UK, but I supppose it could be. Other things are that IoM plates usually have 'MAN' or 'MANX' on them, the dealer's making the plate is on them and hyphens aren't necessary between letters and figures. Make up your own mind!

@@charlesdarwen3683 I think part of the problem is that Schedule 9 requires reasonable grounds. Now sure, if the police suspect someone of doing something wrong then they can lawfully ask for your Operator ID and potentially arrest you for obstruction if you refuse. But if the unit don't actually know the law for drones then how can their suspicion be reasonable? Especially when the Flyer comes up to you and presents you with information about the local restrictions and future flight intentions? I don't think someone doing a lawful activity would bother to do either of those things. And once they've arrested you and you sue for unlawful arrest they then have a huge headache of paperwork to follow up with, which usually results in a payout because gathering all of the evidence, compiling, and presenting it to court would cost far more in police time. For this reason you basically need to be dive bombing the public with your wang out before it's definitely reasonable at arrest you.

Rang up my local police station and asked are they aware that they're meant to tell people "they are filmed" when approached by a police officer. I got an extremely rude response and was told if I have a complaint put it in online and she hung up.

Well handled. I don't think the guy was unfit, I think he was stressed in having to cope with someone with a camera. Excellent handling of the police. This is so much nicer than those video's where the police are goaded into a confrontational response.

The guy is a smoker. He done some sudden exercise that caught him out and took him a minute to get his breath back. It doesn't always happen. I used to get it sometimes when walking up 1 flight of stairs and it is what made me give up smoking after 25years.

I came out of the RN in 1975 so i enjoyed that video. Im so glad we have young men like you doing these videos as it shows our security forces what rights we have. There are so many cops, especially who like to infringe on our rights. But it is much better here than in the USA where some of the cops there are real tyrants & think they are the law. But also some of those citizen's rights people are brilliant & sometimes they tell the cops to literally f*ck off. & the cops can do nothing about it. They only swear like that to them when they are really trying to be tyrannical & infringe on their rights.
