I actually like the first tip due to how it relates to me. I started off DJing with a crappy laptop and a very cheap controller. I still have a lot to learn, but by watching your awesome videos, it makes things much easier. I look forward to when I first perform because of you....... Keep up the good work.

My favorite part is the building relationships, building trust. I can't tell you how many times other "dj's" have asked me to help them get gigs. The way you listed was the EXACT way I got started. No one works with strangers in this business. You need a name and/or built trust to go anywhere

My favorite tip is the tip number 2 because i've done it for a year like i had free music by downloading some packs and my friends also supporting me too by giving me some of their songs so i can use it for some gigs. And i really love what djing has done for me because it gives me a lot of ideas like remixing some musics, download some acapellas so that i can use it for my remixes and i had a few remixes that i had made and i share it with my friends. That's all dj carlo thank you so much for this tips and i really appreciated it ❤

I just got back from my 3rd ever gig (but first one with a DDJ-400) playing to people who flew in from Berlin. I am beaming and I pushed the notion of wanting to do it again -wooop, I can!!! :D The experience itself is priceless, I dont mind doing this for free when I can enjoy when people dance to the tunes I'm playing! AWESOME video! 👏👏👏 BUT... I have a question... I have a roughly $1500 budget for some nice turntables. (Not controllers, but turntables) What would you recommend? I saw your description said s3 and plx 500. Not a huge fan of those because no hot cues and they aren’t durable enough for mobile DJs. And the other setup was too expensive for me. Thanks for reading if you do!

The best tip for me in this vlog is about making connections with club owners, promoters, DJs, regular customers and etc. Regarding getting free music, instead of ripping music out of Soundcloud and/or KZbin; it is better to look for Bootleg packs which has a better audio quality (Check the quality of your tracks using SPEK). There are tons of bootleg packs in Soundcloud that you can find (Mostlt EDM tracks though). If you have some cash, I would highly recommend a DJ record pool to build your music collection. It is Worth It!! I used BPM Supreme and it's awesome!😉👍

My favourite is about free music. I always try to make it legal way. The main reason is not to stealing from our brothers in arms. Second one is the quality. When you're ripping tracks from social media and/or SoundCloud you got to worry about how crappy it sounds on large speaker systems.

In my opinion the most useful tip is the 'ripping music'. Even if that's unfair for the artist, it is necessary for them when they start out to spend as little money as possible, since they don't make any money from DJing. When you start making money from playing DJ gigs, then you can start investing this money for the music.

Hey Carlo, I have a request. Could you do a video showing how to transition in cool ways between songs with vocals? For example reggeton. I would also like you to do a video explaining how to mix edm genres like progressive house, big room etc (not techno pleas, this is much easyer, it never has vocals or harmony, its just drums). I mean, I can do the normal transitions and some tricks you showed in some videos, but I would like to learn more. In addition, you normally focus your videos in beats wich are not similar to this style. Music that they usually play in Ultra, Tomorrowland and this festivals. Thanks man, keep it up!
