Regarding the avoidance on the DJI 2s... thank you for doing the test for me! May have saved me a crash. I learned the hard way never to put my drone in "Sport Mode" unless on miles of flat land. I hit a tree and fell into a deep lake by being in sport mode and forgetting never do that. Cost me $1,000 to learn the hard way!!!

great test, but I have some advice, A good pilot doesn't test the limits of his aircraft, a good pilot knows the limits of his aircraft. My point is don't try to break your drone..

Hi there. I am interested int this drone, but I'm don't know if this drone has also side sensors. Only obstacles avoidance at front and rear? Thanks sir 👍
@wincas Жыл бұрын
No side sensors. Sensors has some degree monitoring field. More about in the manual page 17. www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=dl.djicdn.com/downloads/DJI_Air_2S/DJI_Air_2S_User_Manual_v1.0_en1.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwiG67abwJ_8AhVrmYsKHSFMDjgQFnoECA4QAQ&usg=AOvVaw3tzf4ojJUSLTnmJ-M9lSPM

I just got a DJI Mavic Air 2S and it crash 2 times within some obstacles. To me its not working properly well.😓

Sorry for that. In reality I crashed this my drone on June 2022 too. Sideway flight, no visual line-of-sight + tall tree. Applyed Care Refresh. In couple DRONE - HUMAN always wins HUMAN :)

@@wincasThe video advertises it as a perfect tracking system and does not show any vulnerabilities, even though we all know there are many. It misleads people's opinion about it.

Thanks for sharing this test. Hmmm...Looks like the drone will try to avoid fly to side way as well when avoid the front obstacle.
@wincas2 жыл бұрын
My opinion, only mine- some kind of simple "3d mapping" to cache. Because drone sometimes flies left right, up down.. all 6 directions - scanning surface, trying to find secure way. During active track with less obstacles, drone tries to stay as possible behind the object, but chose the sideway fly direction (maneuvering) only when object starts moving horizontally. Looks like before this maneuver, the area, that was in front of drone, already was mapped, so sideway fly looks secure. I only imagine how great it will be, if DJI make drone to use more frequently front area scanning while the camera turned aside to object:)
