Hi Mike, Many of my friends ask me about the DJI Avata. Unfortunately, until now I still have not received the product officialy from DJI. Just 2 questions, if you want to answer them and DJI doesn't mind this question we really appreciate it. 1. Can the DJI Avata work with other controller brands, because in the sales package the controller itself is sold separately. 2. We are still getting unclear information about DJI Goggles 2, can it be used for DJI Air Units such as caddx module? or in the futere will have compatibility with DJI unit 03. Maybe DJI Unit 03 will be released soon, I asked this question to make sure how this product can be used for the long term. Thanks.

Just stumbled across this video and i have to ask ..... what is the view like through the goggles ? I'm not asking about image quality but about the perspective of the view . I'm the kind of person that if i had to wear a full helmet when on my bike .... i'd sell it , i don't want to view the world though a tunnel. Thanks for the video , well done !!!

I use approx 3.00 reading glasses - will the diopter adjustment be enough? (I know they adjust to 2.00, but I don't know what distance-to-screen the goggles simulate.) If not, are they going to make clip-on lenses or something like that? Thanks...

Thank you for this video .Very helpful ! Im debating which FPV drone to get 1st, the old dji FPV or the new Avata . Do you know if I could use the old v2 goggles as a secondary viewer with the new goggles 2 or vice-versa? I'm new to fpv world and don't know NOTHING about flying FPV . Accept for 3 months on the simulator, but never flew the real thing . What would you get 1st.? Because with getting the old dji fpv, I could use the old controller and goggles with the Avata. But new goggles are not compatible with the old dji fpv. Also is it really worth buying with the new goggles? Is the field of view better on the new goggles 2 . I would like to see a video comparison of the goggle view from v2 and the goggles 2 if possible. Thank you.

It's pretty sad that the new goggles won't work with vista's, air units etc . That was the most exiting thing about the avata was the fact that we were getting a new drone and new goggles I'm an fpv pilot and when it comes to quality from goggles , dji owns the market. They are pretty much perfect so when I heard a couple months ago that new goggles were coming out I was so exited . Now I am finding out from rotar riots video that they are not compatible with anything else . Only the avata . I really hope that changes because now I have second guessed as to weather I want the bundle or not

I'm more an ultra light analog extremist FPV pilot but need to admit that thing look... finished... unless 99.9% of FPV products ! Retrocompatible, with the right specs for what peoples need (making drone footage without hasle), don't need months of training, simulator, gyroflow compatible, pause mode (I wish I had that when mosquito buzzing me 😅) Hat of DJI !!! the fpv video feed in your goggles is unstsabilised, the footage on the sd-card will have horizon steady applied :) Hope that helps.

As usual just brilliant. Unsure if its for me as the original goggles made me very unsteady and I could only fly sitting down. After I would feel incredibly sick and have not been able to get used to the sensation. I would really like to give this setup a go though and persevere to try and overcome the motion sickness effect. Such a comprehensive review though Thanks

Actually, you can further stabilize the footage in Gyroflow. It is Gyroflow compatible as another review showed. Great review. I think it's perfect for travel

Lower frame rates would affect what you see through the goggles. I don't think it's worth the tradeoff, it's an FPS drone first and foremost. Don't see how they could transmit in one res/fps while at the same time record in a different one.

The second image doing circles is also very "soft" looking. I think its a bitrate limitation with all these systems and they perform much better when there's less detail in the image (i.e. more clear sky). The more detail in the environment (surrounded by small leaves with light and dark) will only accentuate its weakness.

Id love one of these but sadly,this is complete waste of time and money if u live in europe.DJI drones especially their fpv drones start breaking up signal within 200m under european ce signal.Unless someone comes through with an fcc hack then dont waste your money if u live in europe.DJI are also shutting the doors on drone exploit routes so if they havnt done it already then chances are they will lock these drones in a future firmware and render it pretty much useless,just like they did with the dji fpv
