THX Ian , i crashed mine 2 days ago..luckily no real damage as i have the arm braces fitted. i had to change 3 props and i had no error messages . However , today i went out for my flight and when i come back to edit the videos i can confirm the noise it makes is deeper / bass tune sound than before . after watching this video , i have changed the 4th propeller and tighten all the screws . hope that would fix it ,otherwise i might have to send it in for inspection - time and money 😢😒

Congratulations on the video! I upgraded and it gave me propulsion failure being under warranty for a month to repair a firmware failure. Pitiful DJI technical service !!

i crashed my DJI FPV back in june and would have loved to find this video earlier D; it was a pain in the ass to repair it on my own (no dji care) one arm got ripped off the drone and i had to change it but after that 2 motors wouldn't spin up again with the heatsink installed so i thought i fried the esc while changing everything but i just shorted 2 motors with the heatsink D: (i realized that as the new esc arrived) so i changed out the esc and the motors worked but there were some weird vibrations going on and overheating of the motors while flying. my next thought was there is something wrong with a motor. so i got new ones ... after waiting weeks for them and installing i still had the same vibrations but no visual damage was seen on anything. no gps errors no imu errors.. the last thing i could change was the IMU. i already spent a full month on troubleshooting so that was my last hope too. last thing i wanted to do is send it to dji and pay way to much for the repair.(note i ended up spending to much for the repair xD but i can still use the old parts for future crashes) So i got one changed it and fixed the problem but i don't know why the drone didn't tell me that the IMU is broken.. i recalibrated it many times but that never fixed it. last time i hit a tree and got stuck in it and had and IMU error warning on the screen but not at my first crash where the IMU clearly got broken. this drone is mysterious but im glad i could fix it (:

My motor heat up a lot and there is vibration in the camera I can see, I swapped out two of the motors that I thought were causing the vibration, I have no idea what it is. But yours was the IMU?

Yes I tried to swap the motors too because they were getting hot but it was 100% the Imu

Landed in a pool and burned the esc. Seemed like no water got anywhere in but after the esc replacement the drone turns in normally but all the LEDs are solid white and I can’t connect it to my goggles or the fly app. Any suggestions?? Thank you man. Great video 🙏🏽

Literally just crashed mines and thank DJI for those arm bracers, but im getting a "fan error" and nothing else is damaged and the drone won't start up but everything else is mechanically fine

I glued mine back together with epoxy and glass cloth. The left arm and a lot of the area in there is solid epoxy now with glass cloth to strengthen it where plastic was ripped out. But it flies, sort of. the vision sensors don't work so it's blind. RTH doesnt work anymore either, but it flies ok in manual mode. Normal and Sport work too but it does wierd stuff, even after recalibrating the IMU. I'm just going to buy a new one soon as you're able to buy just the drone. This one I'll fly until it just comes completely apart.

Thanks a lot for sharing my fpv just crash and went to water upside down try to do turtle mode and drone turn off I try to put in rice for 24 hours remove t top shell clean the mud inside vacuum it and blower and turn it on say in goggles fun error thanks for reply

my drone says fan error and gets really hot but the fan doesnt have anything stuck in it, it spins fine when on? the black bracket over the fan does have a crack in it though so maybe some pressure is being put on the fan?

Hello I have 5 batteries and Im having a problem with them, when I start fly everything goes fine, nevertheless sometimes suddenly I don't have battery information of the percentage remaining on the battery and when I land I see that the battery connector is almost out and just the main power wires are making contact while the three little ones are not. Is there any idea of how can I fix this? Moreover I noticed that my dji fpv has a lot of vibrations. Thanks! (just in case I hacve to say that I did not crash yet my dji fpv)

I crashed my DJI fpv drone and broke the arm a few weeks ago. Also in the crash the sensor on the front of the drone was ripped away completely. I replaced the arm , but didn’t replace the sensors. But today was my first flight on it and it went into the air with no problem , but when I landed it flipped out and wouldn’t shut off. Any ideas.

My goggles dont count up with the flight time anymore. Dont know if it was from a mild crash or the fcc hack. It just Shows Wild time numbers. Thanks for the Detailed vid

I'm not able to update or fly my FPV due to battery communication error! I've tested the batteries and they are working fine, I think problem is with the FPV. May I ask how can i resolve this issue ? Ty.

Yesterday I hit a tree branch around 10mph head on and lost video output from the camera, drone was in manual mode but went back into full level by itself and started to force land through the tree branches but hit every branch on the way down landed in some soft leaves no visible damage but now no video output, I don't know if its the camera module or usb-c main board, It's cheaper to just buy a full new drone off ebay, I will just use this one for parts, it was my first hard crash and it does make me think its a very delicate drone, anyone else had this video issue drone has full rc and vtx signal just no av output.. Edit: Camera was faulty bought a spare drone £180 off ebay swapped cameras and yay it works. Well sort of drone has a main camera calibration error, and Dji Fly app won't download calibration data so I'm stuck with the message.

I have a GPS ERROR & SENSOR SYSTEM ERROR… did not crash, just took a little hit from a puddle splash while Getting a shot. Landed fine. Next day, GPS & SENSOR SYSTEM ERROR. Any idea ?

Hmm, sounds like water has got in to the main body. Habe you removed the canopy and checked the connections.

@@MadRC Yeah everything is connected. I believe it one of the sensors is damaged which is triggering it.

@fellpower The Drone alone is only 700 with battery. So 280 for care refresh replacement is a lot. You pay 200 for Care refresh insurance puls per crash full replacement 280 on top. You can replace twice in one year. That is expensive. Adds up to nearly 400 per replacement average! Minus 150 for the battery from the 700 for a new drone. Thats 400 conpared zo 550 new. Who is mad enough to spend nearly 400 on one Single crash if only one arm is broken for example. A repair via dji would only cost approx 100. So care refresh is not really neccessairy. I have purched the dji fpv with care refresh by the way. Hope i dont need it! Hardy anyone consideres its not just 200 for care refresh but additionally 280 per crash replacement
