Compliment for the video! One note: In the "Inspire 1 User Manual (EN) v1.0" on page 21 there is the following text: DO NOT CHARGE the Intelligent Flight Battery AND remote controller with standard charger (model A14-100P1A) at the same time, otherwise the charger may overheat.

Just received an email from DJI to say that all Inspire 1 customers will receive 24/7 support. Have asked if this is limited to those that have bought directly from DJI or applies to all Inspire owners. Would be a great service addition but personally it wouldn't dissuade me from buying from a local dealer such as Marionville who clearly show through this channel passion about what they do. (No I don't work for or have any association with Marionville!!)

ellaskins the Pro had pursued motors and a different camera mounting plate but that was it. The later V2 Inspire 1 with X3 also had these features.

Hi there. I need help! Will the inspire physically not fly if I'm close to the airport? Or is it just advised not to fly near one. Also if I got an iPad with sim on pay as you go and the money runs out or the gps stops working will my drone fly off by itself or will the iPad view of the camera freeze or stop working so I can't no longer see what my drone sees? Do I even need gps to see what the drone sees and without gps will my drone be hard to control? Like iv seen that an inspire can hold its position (height and exact position is air) will it be able to do this without gps? Or would a gust of wind be able to make my drone move by itself without gps. These are questions iv not seen answered and i really really need some help with answers please. Thank you.

The big selling point for me would be the camera fidgeting while airborne - I think its looking like gopro hero no longer dominate the quality and specs for shooting video but we do need to see some 4k stills to compare colour etc.so a frame ripped from a 4k on both. But from my hobbyist perspective it's a lot of money.

Apple does not show an app for the DJI PILOT, is this something that you get when the inspire arrives or do I have to get an Android Tablet. Thanks and all the best

Hi could you please explain the exp on throttle and yaw please. Simulator isn't really showing me a difference. Would be grateful as I would like to slow it down on the throttle which I presume would be 0.30. But the yaw ??

Not sure why they have throttle EXP as its more use on control channels. Hopefully we will see it on all the control channels.

I just noticed that as well. Quite disappointing that there's a flight ceiling of 500m, considering that the Phantom 2 was capable of getting to 1km up before RTH was triggered.

Bazza I can't seem to override the 500m cap that they allow you to adjust in the DJI Pilot app. I'm trying to get into the motherboard like you do with the Phantoms (via plugging in the computer) but I'm getting no luck with breaking the 500m mark. However, on the manual it says its max altitude is about 14,000 ft. Which is phenomenal/useless with the cap

Shakyamuni Films I think, as Marionville suggested, that this is a cap on the individuals own applied limits and not the actual limitations of the aircraft. I imagine, and I can't confirm without testing, that if you disable that setting you can fly as far as the signal allows.

does the remote control allow you to move the camera up an down and side ways from both scrollers. i mean left scroller is the up and down and right scroller is tilt side ways?

No but what you can do is have one of the C switches on the back change from tilt to pan on the scroll wheel.

Any idea how to get the camera feed to be more full screen on the tablet? My inspire camera feed does it seem to take up the whole width of the tablet and there are large gaps on the left and the right. It almost looks like a 4.3 ratio stream. Any ideas?

I figured it out 2 minutes after I posted the question :/ It was a simple setting on the app, 4.3 16.9 ratio choices. I appreciate the response though. I'm using a Tab 4 Pro 10.1. Haven't maiden the inspire. Getting a little worried, seeing on the web a lot of people having issues. Is it true DJI has cut their warranty coverage back on the unit? Also, I pre-ordered the machine through a retailer and didn't think much of it after the fact, was expecting it to have waypoint capability as this is how it was advertised when I purchased it. Any word on this being possible in the future with the unit?

Is the transmitter the home point of the tablet? Is the GPS chip in the transmitter? How does the quad know where home is? Does the tablet need to have a GPS chip in it? I have a 1 1/2 year old iPad without a GPS chip. Will dynamic home work?

GPS for home point is in the controller if your using the conrioller as home point.

No you can't, they have to be smaller that 100watts.

Thomas Hunger According to the FAA You CAN take up to two of the 5700's (over 100WH) in carry-on luggage, properly secured. You CANNOT put them in Checked Baggage UNLESS they are in the original equipment (The copter itself).So, in theory you could bring up to (3) 5700's with you on a trip if you check the Inspire as luggage. And any number of the lessor batts as they are under 100WH.

You need the serial from the Inspire its self. Each component of a DJI product has its own serial number. Thanks for pointing that out though.
