Lol thanks, Danny. I can say it didn’t really make much of a difference to me but I didn’t like missing it and making a specific point to mention it in the first video. Typical We’re the Roberts. Haha. I can say the drone is definitely a good value especially at the price it’s currently showing. I remember my very first real drone. It was $299 and supposed to be a Mack daddy drone and it flew away on the 2nd flight. At least this one does what it’s supposed to lol. Thanks for watching and commenting, buddy. God bless!

2 axis gimble is what always kills it for me. Also the wifi remote connection on the DJIs are untouchable. You can fly several miles with ease.

Gotta agree with you there. DJI definitely has no real competition and the 2 axis gimbal is really not very steady. But the electronic stabilization they have helps a lot for sure. Still agree. Not DJI quality by any means

It might be that they determined that 4 AAA batteries wouldn't last long and customers would complain, so they just switched to a rechargeable LIPO and didn't bother to redesign the battery compartment.

That’s a good possibility. There’s no telling why it’s designed like that. If that’s their logic I’d understand. I never would’ve noticed this if it wasn’t pointed out to me. Lol

Dji came out with the mini 4 but it's identical to the mini 2 they kept the same body style as the mini 2 and for good price if you on a budget

I saw that yesterday and watched several of the influencers videos. I’m really impressed with that thing. It also solidified what we have been saying. Mini 2 rocks!!! Lol. I think DJI just killed off any remaining competition with this entry drone. Now I want one! Lol.

I would guess that controller is used by a multiple of different manufacturers, it could be used for toy grade drones, like under $100, or toy rc helicopters etc, hence why there is space for those type of batteries.

That’s a really good possibility. I know there’s a reason for it but I haven’t heard back from them yet. I know the Ruko drone we tested a few weeks ago is really similar to a holy stone drone so maybe Aspexel is in the mix, too. Lol

To save money, that's try you will find. There is no wires in the transmitter sticking out bits.

Lol yea man I’m a slacker. Someone mentioned maybe they decided last minute not to use that option but didn’t change the design. Someone else said maybe that controller mold is used by different companies which I can totally see. Either way, I’m blind. Lol. I won’t be getting the Mini 4k. Is it seriously a replacement of the 2? I haven’t done any research on it.

Do you not see the correlation between the “battery compartment” and the word “shocking”? I thought that was clever not misleading. Also this was an update on the original video I did on this drone last year and I asked a question last time “Is this a mini 2 killer?” The answer is obviously no as many people responded. Honestly I don’t see anything about this video that’s click bait but I’ve always been told you can’t make everyone happy all of the time. @@WeretheRoberts Those $100 under 250 grams drones with 2-axis gimbal+EIS put DJI out of business. So they thought we better lower the price for a 4k mini drone or else we get homeless and starve to death and can't watch Netflix anymore.
