Only thing you forgot to cover was firmware updates, there is an update available since they shipped. Just need to download the DJI assistant 2 (power series) connect to a pc or laptop with the right usb c port. Takes about 10 minutes to update (full details in manual from DJI)

Wow, Matt! What a very informative and holistic review of this product ❤ I've seen others have their take on this particular power station yet none of them delivered it the way you do. Even someone like me who gets easily confused on how electrical input/output, watts, etc. works, but you, my man, explained it just enough that I understood the concept like you translated it in layman's term 😄 I personally appreciated you explaining what each sockets can do and how it's reflected onto the LCD when used. For me, little knickknacks like that is as important as the main feature point of the product and you rock for showcasing everything about the DJI PPS 500.

i know this is an older video, but just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to spell out several aspects of this device, very helpful! only thing I can't seem to confirm is if you can charge the Power 500/1000 in car, while using the SDC port to charge Mavic batteries. These things are at an all time low price right now and really tempted to pick up up if it can handle this type of passthru charging. keep up the good work!

Works great. Only thing I wish: the front display light had a dimmer. It's pretty bright at night.

long-term, how is it treating you? curious if the SDC port really doing what the specs say, or is it just a subtle difference in charge time. love the idea of charing a Air/Mavic battery in ~30 min, but DJI is not famous about reporting accurate numbers when it comes to these drone's batteries. thanks for the input if you have sec!

Deleted it and went to the App Store to reinstall it only to find that DJI Fly is no longer on there, just a link to their store selling goods. What is going on? I would have liked to replace my drone with the Mini 4 but if the App to Fly it is no longer offered...
