DJI Wireless MIC 2 & Osmo Action 4: Fixed. Check description.

10.1.2024 update: DJI Osmo Action 4 got a new firmware release:

Firmware Version: v01.03.08.20
Improved the stability of transmission with DJI Mic 2 transmitter.
Fixed some minor bugs.
This firmware fixed the issue seen in this video.

Osmo Action 4 firmware: 01.03.07.10
DJI Mic 2 transmitter firmware: 03.05.05.12
Important: In the video I mention the source of the recording with the stamp on the lower left corder. Audio colored Green is pulled directly from the DJI Mic 2 and audio marked Red is the direct audio track recorded to the camera via wireless transmission from the DJI Mic 2. Both of course use the same LAV mic input installed inside the helmet.
There is clearly some issue still with the setup as I cet this clicking sound from the audio sent wirelessly to the camera itself.
Not sure what is causing the problem but interference from the bike is ruled out as I do get the cracks and pops even stationary and indoors.
This is hopefully something DJI can fix in a future firmware update but as of now IN MY opinion the OA4 video audio is mostly unusable.
Resolution for now:
Use the internal float 32 bit audio track from the microphone. IT IS NOT as hard as it is from other audio recorders as the camera will start and stop the audio recording when you start recording video from the camera itself.
Also syncing audio tracks is super easy as you get similar waveform from the OA4 internal audio and the external audio file downloaded from the microphone.
