The one that I bought certainly does not last for hours, after only 1 hour the battery is already empty. otherwise it works well, but, Actually you can do everything by hand and a good smartphone, or you would have to film constantly while walking, and then still, needed?

Zinon, Osmo Mobile 2 supports smartphones 58.6-84.8 mm wide and up to 8.4 mm thick. This covers most phones currently available, from the iPhone SE to the iPhone 6s Plus and Android phones of similar size. We would not recommend users attach other accessories on their phones because it might affect the performance. Thanks for your attention.

How do I change my camera resulostion when using the app? I can't change to 1080p. Only stuck on 720p

Hi Micheal, when recording video, video resolution is set at 720p in DJI GO by default. You can change video resolution in the DJI GO app, route: settings>camera>video resolution. However, the maximum video resolution depends on your phone’s camera. BTW, if you are using the Android device, it might be stuck on 720p when shooting the timelapse. You can not switch the camera from the video on the gimbal. A cheaper version of another company works better. - try charging the phone in a horizontal and degraded position. I bought DJI drones and let myself be fooled - never again, because they lie to advertising. They recognized it in response to my request. And what? And nothing, they just apologized and I have equipment that does not work. Tragedy!

This new version is a complete piece of crap. It's more susceptible to jitter because it's lighter, the controls make no sense, & they got rid of the mounting screw on the side because you could build a whole rig around that before. It's just an attempt to sell more units than the last model. Their target market is easy to fool because most folks who want to film on their phones don't know what the hell they're doing anyways. The price cut IS NOT worth it.

You have to get some sort of L camera mount now I guess. I don't like it either but right now it's the only way to use a microphone that you attach to a mount instead to the frame of your phone. Something like this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p2O4oKCrfcyJgdU
