Do you think he used Chinese child slave labor to build them like Apple does? Everyone treats Steve Jobs’ memory like he was this great person when he’s caused more innocent human suffering than German socialists prior to WWII.

@TheWarmotor ^Pathetic attempt to change the subject to politics...Why can't we have ONE thread about Apple's crimes? You clearly don't actually give a shit about the human suffering, as this comment is just virtue signalling in a sad attempt to co-opt a thread about Apple TODAY....to cry about "socialism" in one country a CENTURY ago...Not even remotely relevant. Don't despair, though! You might be new to the internet, but there are lots of places to discuss world history and politics. Unfortunately this isn't it. Current topic is current day child labor used by Apple. It deserves to be discussed! Thanks! :)

Legal action? Did you actually consult a lawyer on this threat? It seems that if the group had no damages caused by the video as well as nothing defamatory which caused damages then there is no legal action to take. Obviously one can sue anything for any reason so long as they find a lawyer who will take the case but there doesn’t seem to be anything reasonably actionable there if you had revealed the contents of the group. What I could say is that this Doug character could use such content as a base for a defamation lawsuit himself so long as the contents were shown to be false and damaging. I would say that this group is the one to consider the villain here along with Doug. Which is greater who knows, but I can say that trying to hide what you are doing while also claiming that you want to expose the truth is a gigantic red flag... just that interaction with you tells me that the group is not what they claim to be and not to be trusted.

I haven't finished the video yet, but had to comment when I saw the part of the buckle that's supposed to be like what the soldiers use. As a US Army vet, I'll say that the buckles on military stuff are fucking horrible. They'd break or get stuck all the time. I know it was some buzz words thrown in to trick the unsuspecting public, but anyone that knew anything about the military would've told you that it's not a positive selling point.

This is one of the only scams I’ve ever bought into. I ordered a backpack when it was first announced. At the time the bulletproof part was not a thing. I pretty much immediately realized it was a scam after every single thing he did had something go wrong or just took way longer than anything ever would. Then one day he posted about how he was adding a bulletproof plate (for an up charge, that was the other thing after the initial purchase they kept coming up with things to add on). I think anyone who wasn’t asking for a refund started asking then.

Whoever made this has no idea how ballistic energy works. Just because something is bulletproof doesn't mean the energy just vanishes. If you wear a level 1 or 2 body armor and get hit with a 9 mm it will save your life but your ribs are still broken. It just redirects the energy over a bigger surface but it's still there. This backpack doesn't make sense at all. Yes it would save you wearing it on the back but holding it in front of you? No chance. The energy has nowhere to go and the bullet would penetrate the kevlar anyway.
