:-) How ironic ......you like the Rane 12 in USB mode for all the reasons I dont :-) ... I own turntables as well as the Rane 12. I must prefer usng my turntables with needles .....or even with Phase. If I use my Twelves I use them in DVS mode......Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Great content man.......always enjoy reading your reviews and watch your videos.

On the record stop midi map the pitch and time lock to the stop button and motor off button. It will sound like a natural brek

The problems u listed seem they can be fixed with some software updates. The Ranes I feel like they abandon. I was hopping for custom midi on the touch strips but it doesn’t work with the 72 with out conflicting with your performance pads. It does midi map well with s11 which is weird

@@newnewworldsymphony nah - most of those are inherent limitations to dvs. They also exist in phase hid. At the end of the day, it’s personal preference

I got 3 12s for sale lol. My biggest problem with the 12s is they drift off beat. I found a video on KZbin . The motors are the same as the NS7. Not sure how long they were sitting in a warehouse but someone figured out the lube in motor lost consistency. Maybe from temperature variations in shipping from over seas. I followed this video and took apart the motor and lubed them. They felt like 1200s after that. Motor was way lighter and easier to manipulate. A couple of my friends had 12a that were soooo tight it felt like I was mixing on a conveyer belt. Thank you for the video. You explained your stuff very well. I was about to get 3000s cuz all the clubs have them and the super accuracy but I’ve been confidently able to do long mash ups with about 10% of the corrections I’d have to do with the 12s

you know in the near future the RCA's will go bad and the song will sound distorted or no signal at all, gotta have USB midi signal, I hope they fix the break/stop button the delay throws me off

Hi, nice video man!!! I prefer high res midi (i run mostly dvs). Hid rocks, specially with quantize and cues , with dvs thats non existant :). I found less latency with hid than with dvs. With VDJ i dont have the problem with the instant doubles, it loads the song with the same speed, just have to configure it. :). My pals hate me cause i use vdj :D, but im more hardware transversal... and i can have scratch banks with a z2 or my old voxoa m70 :D . Very good content!!!! Congrats. ...Ahh..hid is less cpu consuming than dvs...forgot to mention that.

Hello I hear that the mk2 Rane 12 had the same tone uploaded updated Can you confirm or deny that please I understand it was just a controller but mojaxx pioneer review was mentioning pioneer tone then stated same on Rane now thanks looking to get a mk2 with my pioneer

yea the Twelve MK2s also have the DVS tone and it's the proper licensed serato noisemap

i just bought the S7 and you showing all these ways of using Effects and pitchlock, shows me the Many options, compared to what…. S9 was able to Do!!!! 🫡👏🏽😃, Good Work!!!!! i am thinks about getting the CROSS Decks, other than that i has My M7 Technics and newly bought RANE 4’….😎which is button crazy😳😂,

Crss 12s are 1000 times better PIONEER > Rane all day. I had the 72 and 12s for years. Practicing a month at home with the crss 12s I feel ao much better at my cuts

@@djsoo I have a few work around a I used to do with the reloops. The pitch is midi mappable so I map the pitch and button on each deck to internal so if I want a two deck locked bpm transition jump I can do it with a few extra steps
