I think the half pipes in the custom track are just boost panels disguised as half pipes. As for the snow, I’m not really sure lol

When people were complaining about the lack of texture in early wave tracks, I would always say "it could be worse. It's better to have no texture at all than an ugly texture" Yeah, I think that custom track proved my point

after it is normal that the wii u has weird texture is because it tried to innovate by putting ice and water on the ground unlike a nintendo who prefers nothing to fuck on its maps with polygonal rocks and must not forget that the version was made by a people unlike the switch version that is made by an entire team la version wiiu a des texture étrange mais y'a du travail au moins meme si j'aurais préferer quil utilise ma version wii pour faire le sol comme il a fait pour les barriere et le mur I played the wii u version and the switch version

Man, a lot of the dlc tracks are great but they lack the magic and the detail of the original mk8 tracks. Those were so immersive, graphically beautiful, and captivating. these new ones feel so rushed and half assed like they’re just good enough to be released..

That snow on the custom track is UGLY as hell. Sure, the wood and the bedrock could use some detail, but 8DX is beautiful on the eyes.

They're just doing the bare minimum so the tracks are easily imported between mk8 and mk tour.. which is sad.. we pay a premium price for recycled free mobile game tracks.. nintendo as its best..... And when you look at all the tour city tracks.. wow they look like total gargabe.. buildings dont even have any textures..

@@Tashiro64 $25 is a premium price? Also at the end of the day the tracks are still fun to play in. Graphics are definitely a downside, but at least it makes up for it in being fun. Also the bare minimum was wave 1, each wave has been making the graphics progressively better, even if they all look worse, at least they aren’t being 100% lazy.

They are all ported from Tour, so no matter what they will look worse, however they have been adding texture to things such as sand grass and snow, so it’s not the absolute bare minimum with something like wave one, where everything was just flat textures.

the snow if you can call it snow on wii u version is ugly but the circuit has been worked compared to the switch version, you can see between the transition of the two and you do not find the ugly stuff and mario kart tour (red barrier and wall and bumps enlarged).

I found out there's a mod for Mario kart Wii called Mario kart Wii deluxe. The developer says it has over 600 tracks compared to the original Mario kart Wii I wonder if you would try it.
