I think the world wide success of video games like Gran Turismo and Need for Speed had much more of an effect on the popularity of Japanese cars outside of Japan than the F&F movies. Both put together influenced a lot of today's enthusiast market.

VeilSide kits were already expensive even before the first F&F. People in the west coast were into Tuning way before the F&F franchise, Most people haven’t seen the VeilSide Supra, and they say F&F made the Supra, but real Tuning guys already knew all bout these cars

Whenever I see pictures of a veilside rx7 online, I always say and thought to myself that the stock rx7(stock bodykit, spoiler) had already been a cool car but then came veilside and man, they made the already cool car in stock bodykit even more cooler.

Man I love that rx7, when I first seen it I thought it was a type of exotic supercar but when I saw the rear of it and was told that it is in fact an rx7, I was blown away. Veilside did an amazing job with it and even the paint job is excellent with a 2 color flat. Great looking car still till this day👍👍

I was not really a fan of Veilside designs except for Fortune kit from the inspiration of Bat Mobile. But the owner is such a humble guy and very soft spoken. That's why even DK has so much respect on him. Now i'm also a fan cheers

I never really like the rx-7 fortune, and I think I know why: I don't like the orange paint and the flat rear end lol. If I can afford one I'll probably paint the orange parts in dark cherry red and add a ghost flame decals. Kinda like JDM meets hotrod styling.
