I just wrote my comment cos when David mentioned it in the video with all their insider info about the good attitude of BTS, I just remembered the interview I've watched by a daughter of US show producer and she really described how professional BTS are. I just observed that media paint BTS popularity as a "mania" or "sensation". But when I think about it why they're so successful, their character and professionalism really stands out as a factor. ☺️💜

All the staff in the Kpop industry who've ever worked with BTS say nothing but good things about BTS. They all say, BTS are humble, easy going, nice, polite, and well-mannered to the staff in the industry. I remember reading a post of this American girl, whose father is a billboard staff, watched their rehearsals and only heard good things about them from her father. Her father said BTS were always ready behind the stage to rehearse on time, never let the staff wait for them, and never forgot to thank all the staffs involved after rehearsal, which was very rare to see from American celebrities. He said they were very polite, well-mannered, and professional. Even Bae cheolsoo, who is a legendary rockband guitarist & renowned radio DJ, said he only heard good things about BTS from his photographer friend who has worked with BTS. He complimented about how great personalities they have. This is one of the many reasons why BTS gained so much popularity around the world. They are humble, down to earth, and never consider themselves above anyone else. They dont take their success for granted. They always show their gratitude to their fans and staffs. They even call their backup dancers the dancer team instead of backup dancers as a way of respecting them. I dont know about other cultures, but for any celebrities to have a really long lasting career in the industry, they need to be humble in Korea. If they treat their staff like shits, one day it will hunt them down.

It is America & 16 UN countries that helped South Korea fight against North Korea& China, who attacked & invaded South Korea in their attempt to make the Korean peninsula a communist country. China is using BTS, sort of like a propaganda, to achieve what they want. 1) China hates America and vice versa. China is practically at war with America right now. They didnt like to hear it. 2)China always dont like the fact S.Korean entertainment is popular and has a big influence on Chinese young people. So China has banned the import of Korean entertainment, such as Kpop, Kdrama,Korean movies, since 2016. BTS is getting very popular in China, and it was just about the right time & right excuse for Chinese government to bash BTS to stop their popularity and influence in China. It is similar to the Soviet Union banned the Beatles. Whatever BTS is singing, such as love yourself & speak yourself goes against the Chinese communist party's values and ruling principles. 3) By doing so, China can drop the sales of S. Korean companies, such as Samsung, Hyundai, LG, etc., and also this is China's way of taming foreign companies doing business in China. Whoever foreign companies doing business in China shouldnt get on their nerves otherwise they can suffer from boycott. so basically whoever wants to do business& make money in China must kiss their ass. China has been.doing this to numerous foreign companies who make money in China for a while. 4) China's ultimate enemy is America, but since they cant take out their anger on America directly, they are just using BTS to do so. For China, BTS is easy to use, and they know BTS or S.Korea cant do anything against China since many S.Korean companies do business and make money in China and they dont want to lose the huge Chinese market, which is the reason why Sam Sung & Hyundai removed all their BTS-related advertisements immediately. This is a China' way of taming foreign companies who do business in China. It is sort of like 'dont get on my nerves, otherwise we will boycott you'. China has been like this to global companies doing business in China for quite a long time. It is nothing new. My conclusion: all the media in China is controlled & censored by the Chinese communist party. The Chinese media represent the Chinese communist party's ideas and thoughts. The Chinese government is just using BTS for their political agenda. This whole BTS incident in China is a political game the Chinese government is playing. It is not just China being sensitive. BTS members have always been great people, BigHit ex-employees (majority of them are interns) are even regretting leaving the company in some sense because the culture cultivated inside the company led by Bang PD and BTS is so nice that they themselves want to have that kind of environment in a workspace wherever it is.. Even TXT are known among PDs, staffs in music shows and variety shows to be very professional and courteous; TXT are very close with their staff that they would even play games with them during breaks, talk to them about personal stuffs.. BangPD and BigHit have now learned how to choose great people AFTER what happened with GLAM years ago.. Of course NO ONE IS PERFECT but even if you're not in the mood in that particular day, IT IS YOUR JOB, when you decided to go to these locations/sets where you will meet different kinds of people and staffs to ACT and BE PROFESSIONAL regardless of the situation you are in.. It's part of the JOB unfortunately.

Actually now that so many more things have been revealed since the first few days of the incident, I honestly think that Irene should go to a therapist or get some medical help to clear her social communication problems. Even if Irene didn't have any bad intention or didn't purposely hurt the Stylist, she should still fix her bad communication skill and lack of self-awareness. But that doesn't mean that she's an evil person and the Stylist isn't either. Although it's true that she at first should have tried to talk to Irene and handle it personally but it probably happened because she really wanted an apology and used some "drastic measurement". My sister used to have a very bad communication skill and had problems with her social skills. She once even accidentally insulted one of our maids back when we lived in a house in our birth country in asia. But as days past and after alot of explaination and education from my mom, grandparents and therapists she learned her lesson and worked hard to become better and fix her communication/social skills. Neither me nor my parents Ever thought that my sister an evil or bad person because the people she's close with knows that she's a really nice person and so is Irene which explains why the staff members who are close with her knows that she isn't bad person and she's really good. Sadly, by the time she realized her Wrongdoing, our maid left the house and went back to her hometown without leaving any phone number or ways to communicate with her so my sister couldn't personally apologize. So she seeked forgiveness from Allah (I'm a Muslim and He is our God) and prayed for the well being of our maid. And ever since then she's been trying her best to improve and become a better person. Even if it didn't fully change (since, you know, social anxieties are really hard to change) she's been getting really better than before and I'm proud of her. I also prayed for the well being of maid because she deserves to be happy.

The thing that was frustrating about the Irene thing was how quickly fans came to her defense. Making up stories to attack the stylist and victim blaming. Like?? She apologized, she was at fault. Red Velvet is one of my favorite group and Irene is one of my favorite members too but "some" fans need to admit Irene was indeed in the wrong no matter what the reason for her outburst to her stylist/editor was. Yes, she may be nice to most people but she can also be bad to some other people too. I worked at a very fancy restaurant (Michelin stars, round driveway, etc.) for a long time as a runner and really empathize with this woman. After being treated like dirt and trash for such a long time I found myself starting to believe it. Believing that I deserved the treatment of those people who drink wines that cost a year of my college tuition. People who don't know the value of money, the value of my work and my value as a person. A person that doesn't simply exist to clean up cigar butts or to be insulted and harrased. But in that situation I had no power. My bills still had to be paid and the probability of me finding a new job were low. So in the glitz and glamour life where Irene receives absolute protection even after stepping all over someone, I feel for that woman. Because I see myself in her. It takes courage to say these things and stand up to Goliath when you feel like David without a slingshot, so I applaud her. I hope Irene reflects and practices humility, because she is dependent on the love, trust and devotion of fans. Love, trust and devotion that is earned.

I fully agree with you. I think the recent Woojin case should have been a lesson to most of us. I was disgusted to see how many people I would like to call immature immediately burned their photocards of him instead of waiting for official information. Just to give an example of their reactions. Instead of remaining neutral, many have also said that they would rather be on the victim's side. Now Woojin has been mostly relieved as far as I know and for the online community (not all of course) I am ashamed now. The way many immediately reacted with hatred. All the spam comments on their Instagram accounts. The Prison Videos... I hope that we have now learned from this situation and that we will now also remain neutral in the case of Irene. I'm a bit suspicious of her tho because she's often made me feel different behind the scenes than she shows. Also the fact that SM and she reacted so quickly (although I might think that the audio could play a role). HOWEVER, it is not a reason to rush to draw conclusions and react with hate. Let's wait for more information and stay neutral till then.

Irene apologized for what she did and that's all that matters, stop trying to meddle into her business and get her canceled for a reason that might not exist. I think that's how kpop is (I was like this too ngl) Stans always assume idols are all angels and stuff. But they're just like you, like u go to office to work, they go perform onstage. True, I believe they should use their influence for something positive, but at the end of the day you can't hide your flaws. That's why cancel culture is not cool. Idols do their job on stage, offstage is a total different story. Yes some idols should reflect on their behavior but y'all can't go cancelling them because of such incidents. I don't expect anyone to be an angel, no one is perfect, but saying shit for twenty minutes to a person you don't really know without giving them any chance to reply is just next level rude behavior lol. A flaw is saying something wrong without knowing much about the subject, going on a rampage and not apologizing for it until you were exposed is something else. I'm not saying she should receive any hate, because she definetly shouldn't, but you should understand that others have the right to not be satisfied with her apology and can be disappointed to the point of not following her work anymore. This is not cancel culture, and again, I did not expect her to be perfect in any way. SM could easily sue the stylist for defamation, but they took an action immediately by issuing a public statement on that matter instead. Im a big fan of red velvet's music but this is so disappointing. It doesn't matter who started the fight. Irene is at fault. There is a real thing called pretty privilege, and Irene definitely has it in this case. I have seen many people calling her an angel/a beautiful face and soul during this whole situation, so let's not get that twisted. It's also in human nature to be kinder to those who are more attractive be default. There are so many compilations of her "putting men in their place", and the VAST majority of the time, her cold personality is romanticized vs used as a foundation of criticism compared to Nancy, Jennie, and pretty much a lot of other "RBF" idols. Let's be honest now, Jennie and Nancy have been/still are being torn to shreds over the things that they do, wear, etc, especially Jennie now. The poor girl can't get a break. There are so many people out there waiting for the moment to absolutely destroy her. She has gotten into many more trivial scandals, and it clearly has affected how she acts and what she does. If Jennie gotten into this scandal, we all know what would've happened. Yes, there's obviously going to be a reason why she acted angry. Maybe it's her personality (I doubt it), maybe it was something that happened. Who knows. But, what gives somebody the right to make a stylist (mind you, they are literally helping them get ready) cry and feel bad about themselves. Apparently this was for 20ish minutes too.
