@@TheCurlygirly14 I work in TV and the treatment they both got was absolutely appalling. I completely agree @BooknerdJebbi , they should have had a couple of chairs to sit on. Unfortunately these types of jobs falls onto a runner or production assistant, which typically tend to be the lowest paying jobs in the crew. And the fact that they would have been in those uncomfortable costumes for probably around 7 hours (or more) without a break due to all the waiting around before and after they went live is mistreatment. This honestly makes me so angry, no crew member should ever be treated like this, even if it is for the sake of 'entertainment' or a job. They should have had been able to wear trainers in a similar colour, and a two piece outfit that is not so restrictive. Shame on whoever was in charge of this.

Asia is a continent and east Asia is where basically all the idols are from with the exception of a few half western/not east asian and a few fully European idols but I doubt you'll see many if not any people from India, malayasia, etc etc. If they were truly "asian awards" then they'd at least include some big contries in Asia you know? It's mostly centered towards East Asian idols

Rotating the tent is the same as using a waiting room. Each group should have had its own heated tent.

@@feat.Lilyli not necessarily, my thoughts are keep the idols in the cars they arrived in, when it gets close to their time to go on stage, you send staff to take their temperatures and usher them to the 'waiting room' tent to get ready and whatever makeup and stuff needs to get done then they can proceed to the stage, so on and so on

@@roositanoor6289 I've never been to SK so I have no idea what the weather is like but honestly I'd rather someone get cold than risk infection, least outside there's plenty of free flowing air unlike inside those waiting rooms, like David said in a previous video, the size/ space in those waiting rooms are not good conditions for infection prevention, yes it's wasn't nice and unprofessional, but that's just my opinion on the matter, I wasn't there so I don't know how the idols felt in the moment

Staying in your own van is waaaay safer for the idols than tents or waiting rooms. I have a friend who does building inspections and she says to avoid tents like the plague during covid. It's worse than being in a building because they don't have proper HVAC. The treatment of the actors was bad for optics, but honestly, we should all be happy that our favorite idols were isolated as much as possible for their health.

1. I look up to Jae so much for bringing awareness to mental health. He’s truly been an inspiration to me especially in the last year when I experienced multiple relapses in my own personal health. 2. I seriously will never understand why people feel entitled to know everything about idols personal lives. ( I personally don’t think SM has to respond to the Chanyeol matter. ) 3. As for the idols having to stay in the parking lot in their cars. I don’t think it’s _that_ weird. After the recent COVID-19 scare in the kpop world. As for the actors presenting the awards. They were kinda constantly needed to attend while giving the awards so it makes sense they stayed in the building. And the artists, they only needed to be in the building when recording or receiving an award. It was a good idea in my opinion to keep people in their vans. I do feel like mnet could have at least provided something basic like, idk, hot chocolate or coffee for the guys waiting in the cold. It’s really not that big of a deal to hire a few little trucks 😐 But then, I wasn’t there so I can’t base my opinion off just a few photos. And omgosh yes. Rosa Delao In their early years 3 members left the group, one member not being able to participate in group activities with them, one of the member left a few days before their concert, I heard that they were practising day and night rearranging everything and took very shot amount of rest not minding their pains ,imagine a person you lived together for so many years suddenly left you and it happened to them not once but three times and they didn’t even get a proper break for clearing their mind when they themselves confessed in a Chinese show that even though they were tired both physically and mentally they still showed their smile to give strength to each other for their fans, despite their hard work and constant effort many people brush off exo’s achievements saying they are from “Big three” and spoon fed group. I'm perfectly aware that more than feminism, we should think of multi-feminism depending on the culture and the needs of women/men. But I have never read (or experienced) that a man cheating was a gender issue in this kind of situation. Both men, women and non-binary persons can cheat on their partner. I have a hard time seing how this effects women of a societal globe: unless you are directly affected by the person cheating (the one cheated on, friend, mistress,...) or you have personal similar experience, I don't think anyone would be affected/uncomfortable by the cheater. Now, I don't have all answers, I might be wrong or not see something. So if any k-feminist think I'm wrong, I'm open to the conversation - as it is an opportunity to learn. And this is just a rumour, exols have already debunked everything not because we are delusional fans but because everything seemed so unrealistic. 1. This rumour spread in weibo two weeks before it blew up on Twitter and the Chinese netizens didn't take it seriously because they knew it was fake. 2. Also none of his fansites shut down (if a fansite shut down all of a sudden, it means they know something about the idol or they're unhappy with the idol, for example Chen's fansite shut down after the wedding announcement) 3. He has some of the craziest sasaengs in exo, they would have known better. Sasaengs expose their idols before the news becomes public (Eg. Chen's sasaengs already exposed that he was in a relationship and they are planning to get married, months before he announced it himself). If they kept silent, it's because they wanted to keep it a secret or it didn't happen at all. There was no reason for them to keep silent after the rumour blew up, which proves that it didn't happen at all. 4. The images are poorly edited, the accuser deleted the post and vanished and they're still not found. None of the other 10 women he apparently 'cheated' on showed up to prove the claim. Neither did the of accuser share more info about it. No one knows if they are male or a female. So briefly, this is a setup to sabotage Chanyeol. He need not respond to it because it's so trivial. Many people from different fandoms have been throwing so much hate on him. I hope he is fine! Edit: another point, popular brands do not want to work with people with bad reputation. But all the brands Chanyeol endorses i.e. Prada, Cass, Acqua di Pharma, Nacific did not terminate their contracts with him, on the contrary, they still post ads with him in it, Cass Thailand even celebrated his birthday recently. This says a lot. None of the people who have worked with him in the past showed any kind of disgust when talking about him recently. They all know this is pure BS.

Let's be honest for a second: 1. If all groups had waiting rooms y'all would be pressed about how it's too cramped and MAMA is putting idols at the risk of infection. Especially seeing how easily there can be a ripple effect these past 2 weeks, if one idol tested positive y'all would be so angry 2. Staying inside their cars was a more safer way, plus they have their heaters inside their cars so it's less cold because it's snowing in sk rn (idk if i'm right, but that's what I heard). I could try and understand some kpop fans who hate mama because there are some reasonable reasons to get mad at them but at least try to look into things and analyze the situation
