Legally I don't think Kakao chats are hard evidence in Seungri's case. The police would likely need to follow the money if they wanted to find proof of any wrong-doing--Things like money laundering, or tax evasion. Here in the USA, rich people don't usually get punished to the full extent of the law, and even if they do serve some time, they get to go to nice prisons with tennis courts.

The majority of the users ARE upset and angered. Obviously because there are people out there who would disagree, I used "most". I loved YG's music and artists but when he started doing some disgusting things, it angered me. For example, the treasure box situation. He bent his own rules and angered some of the viewers. Many people are angered with YG for some of latest decisions. As for the Seungri situation, how do you know that there was no sex? I don't recall reading anything regarding that. Also, I agree. There isn't solid evidence yet. But, doesn't his claims make you suspicious? Seungri claimed the texts were fabricated and when they were proven otherwise, he admitted to them. Now, he's claiming that they're all jokes. Isn't this fishy? Don't you think that if they were joking, he'd have made that claim from the start? Right now, it seems more like he's trapped and has no options left but to claim that they're jokes and hopefully get let off. One thing I do agree with you is that if he wasn't a celebrity and did the same thing, it wouldn't have been this chaotic and would cause a small ripple. As for the victims, you need to always leave room for error. What if they can't testify because they're too afraid that it'll effect their life afterwards? What if they started doing something else and is traumatized by it? If there weren't victims, the claim of prostitution would never have come up in the first place. In the worst case, what if the victims are being bribed? Open your eyes wide. This world is a disgusting place and people do whatever they can to get what they want so you can't assume that what you see is the whole truth. They have to find evidence for whether these girls they sent to the investors actually had sex with them and actually got paid for it, etc. Also the police man who allegedly was connected to Seungri & co. is apparently really powerful, with lots of connections because of his time at the Blue House and his rank, which may make it difficult to investigate and find evidence against him.

I just found your channel, good job! This is such a disappointment situation...there are no winners here! Even if Seungri is vindicated or the charges are dropped and his claim that it was a ‘joke’ is accepted - people are always gonna form their own opinions! I am concerned about BigBang, even though this isn’t about Kpop, but I definitely wanna know how this is gonna effect them...they’ll all be out of the military soon!!
