---------------------
In this clip, DL Hughley detailed the very emotional story of his child that he had outside of his marriage. DL spoke about the ordeal and how his son died at the hands of the mother's boyfriend. He said that the tragic death weighed on him but he kept the entire thing a secret for years. DL went on to explain how he confessed to his wife and the unlikely relationship or arrangement that his wife and the other woman had.
Later on, DL talked about an experience he had with an older woman when he was just 13-years-old.

They are taught to revere the abuse like a badge of honor. Not thinking of the effect it has on the childs male psyche. The behavior changes them so significantly. Most grow up resentful towards women. They didnt experience normal sexuality and emotional value of their partner which plays a serious part in why relationships for them are really hard to be in. They can become emotionally void and detached from human touch and even dislike and distrust the love of a woman due to the wrong introduction of an emotional and intimate relationship. Look at our youth and if asked most will tell you they were introduced to sex at least by 12. Sadly a lot were at an even younger age.

@@yolandacasey66 weren't not "taught" to not see it as abuse.. we just don't. More and more women are just swallowing the idea that men have to be "taught or brainwashed" into feeling how we feel. We just don't. When these hot teachers sleep with 14 year old boys.. not one of his male classmates is saying "Whew! I'm glad it wasn't me". Of course it's still wrong but boys just don't feel like victims in those circumstances.

Because both women, as well as men are taught that women are not inherently sexual predators or a danger to others in that specific way whereas it's been drilled in society that men can be rapists and child molesters. Yes, especially for him to admit he prayed for the "situation" to be lifted off of him and then when he knew the baby wasn't going to make it he felt sorrow and relief. But when asked how he felt about losing his son now he just said I feel things. It's like as a father clearly he'd naturally feel a lot but knowing how he handled it when his son was alive I think it was respectful of him not to put it all out there to get a lot more attention for himself or put a positive spin on it to try and make himself out to be a good guy hge just told it like it is.

I have been in a similar situation. I had a son when I had just finished college. I was angry at both the mother and the baby. She already had 2 kids and was from the wrong side of the tracks. Plus, she had no education. I wanted to he married when I had a child and for sure I didnt want to be married to her. I thought I had put in all this hard work going to college and now I was going to be stuck struggling for the rest of my life because I was going to be taking care of all of these people. It wasn’t the storybook life that I had planned. I hoped and wished it would go away. I secretly hoped she would miscarry and I absolutely hate admitting this now, but I hoped they would move away, some dolt would marry her and adopt my kid, something/anything to remove this situation i didn’t want. I was selfish and I was a coward. I even told my dad I didn’t want anything to do with them. Luckily for me, I had a good dad who set me straight. His mother and I are still together. I helped her go to school and she became a medical doctor and I got my master’s degree in business. I have the best son I could ever wish for. I hate looking back and knowing that at one time I didnt want him. If God exists, I will have to answer for that. But in the meantime, all I can do is be as good of a father as possible and hope that is enough to make up for who I was.

T Miller The crazy thing is, when we started out...I was the one who was “up here.” 8 years later and she has surpassed me...I’m a competitive person and frankly, there’s a side of me that’s jealous because if shes an MD, I feel like I shouldve been a specialist. But it is what it is, and I couldn’t be more proud of her. She admitted to me once (though I don’t think she would admit it today) that she set on her journey for me. I do like to think, even if it was subconscious, that I recognized something special in her. We had been off and on for a long time before she had my son. She was always special, I was just programmed to be a dick and hold peoples’ born situations against them. Special individuals come from all walks of life and talent and drive does not discriminate. If she had been born to a rich family, she’d have been a brain surgeon.
@StuUngar
@StuUngar 6 жыл бұрын
Ang Accounts Oh no, it’s not a sense of jealousy. I said competitive and that was probably the wrong word to use. It would be better described as I believe in the traditional idea of a man being the main bread winner. I remember even DL Hughley had a bit about this topic....”if youre mopping, Im mopping..Im mopping twice as much.” To be frank, I think we need more of that. We have too many grown men that are content to lay around and let their mothers or gfs take care of them. When I see guys like that, I just think, “where the fuck is your pride?”

I felt sorry for his wife. It would break my heart to deal with an outside baby. I’m pretty sure the relationship would end. We had a scare from my husband ex. She waited years to tell him about their child. Well fortunately the paternity test proved he wasn’t the father. I stuck with him through the process. I learned a lot about myself. I’m really territorial and could not take care of an outside child period! It’s selfish but it’s my truth.

Kayla Coffey It’s not selfish, I feel the same way. Cheating especially if it results in an outside baby should not be tolerated. I have a friend whose dating someone who cheated on her and had a baby by another girl and she’s not even allowed to be near the baby, yet she wants a family with this guy. It’s heartbreaking for me as a friend to watch.

Lauren James Truth be told, I wouldn’t want to be near the baby. That’s what would of been the problem. I learned from my dad that my grandma was the same way. My grandfather had a side baby and she refused to have anything to do with the child. My grandfather had to see his baby outside the house. My dad and siblings never met their half sister bc if it. I don’t blame my grandma. In an ideal world people respond like DL wife. However, it would of been a deal breaker for me.

Wow!!! I went through this with my ex. I can’t and will not tolerate cheating let alone a outside child. I stuck by him while they were going thru the paternity test for moral support. And for him to see what he was about to lose. He did in fact father that child and I did in fact leave him . Which I was going to do if it wasn’t his.

His wife was paying the other woman after the child passed away? Was that like some sort of reversed child support? That is strange. 🤔

Sandra Ruiz his wife is nice. I wouldn’t give a hot damn. He paid his child support and at the end of the day, he told his wife and that’s all he needed to do. He doesn’t owe her anything.

You’re still a kid in most ways at 23. Your brain isn’t even fully developed, not the frontal lobe which is responsible for decision making and executive functions. Did you really ponder this before commenting or just jump straight in with this?

Virginia Solomon negative. The man owned up to his decisions. The fact of the matter is the human brain isn’t done developing at such a young age. Just because the law says you’re an adult doesn’t mean you are especially in the area of decision making.

What an arrogant thing to say.! God never heard that prayer. If God acted on the situation it was to save the child from a life of misery and pain. People need to get over themselves and get over this ridiculous celebrity worship.
