திருச்சி Dmart ல் பல அனுபவங்கள் பட்டேன். ஒரு அரை கிலோ நெய் டப்பா விலை ரூ 400 என்று எழுதி இருந்தது. Discount விலை ரூ 199 என்று எழுதி இருந்தது. ஆனால் கவுண்டரில் ரூ 400 என்றே பில் போட்டனர். அதே போல் ஒரு இந்திய தயாரிப்பு சாம்பு (Kesh) ஜனவரி 5, 2022 வாங்கினேன். பிறகு தான் தெரிந்தது அது இரண்டு மாதங்களுக்கு முன்பே Expiry ஆகி விட்டது என்று. இப்படி Dmart தெரியாதது போல் பொருட்களை விற்பது சட்டப்படி குற்றம். இதையெல்லாம் கவனிக்காமல், அறியாமல் அந்த பொருளையும் வாங்கி செல்வது DMart யை மேலும் ஊக்கப்படுத்துவது மக்கள் தான்.

Before billing we need to check the pricing n expiry. You may not have done that. Also in my experience, the pricing is right, n no expiry have been found. If you notice that, inform the store manager.

Smart strategies are passing on the discounts to customers, correct n clear pricing ( which is a anamoly if you compare their peers), location presence, assortment n clutter free display of SKU.. Don't forget the gst component rightfully going to govt n the employment opportunities created in the town..They will be the single largest to dominate the retail in future

GST component will have to be paid to government. There is no way one can escape. Wish Ramesh Damani becomes FM one day and looks like his strategies can bring down taxes and duties but will generate greater revenue.

Inventory holding cost is almost Nil since product vanishes from the shelf in very short time. And also they get 90 days plus credit from the supplier and on the other hand they get immediate cash on sale from customer. They operate on suppliers money in this model. @@detroitofasia2632 All those are sandy. They are filled with market dirt. And if they are washed and cleaned they will rot quickly. Store has to constantly clear near it and customer shoes will carry the sand all over the store. The nilling counter will also get sandy. Best to leave that idea.

All companies follow only one method - give discounts. We use sophisticated words like strategy for giving discounts. I do not understand why one should do MBA in IIM and Harvard to give discounts.

Simple madan. They get min 25% to 40% discount from Consumer goods companies ie FMCG, commodities . They pass on discount to consumer . Their profit margin is just 10% .

Local shops won't have so many products nor be this fresh. Most local shops always say no Madam we don't have that product. Also to promote them, they need to have something unique. They don't.

First reason opm without bank interest No local shop even can't get simple loan in banks. So don't compare these people and also try to appreciate or even try to buy things near by local shop. Once all local shops gone then u can see the monopoly policy of these tycoons. One country 's success is not in bringing 1000 worker 4 companies but producing 4000 entrepreneurs.

Local shops don't have this kind of stock. There is more variety in D-Mart. Also, if D-Mart doesn't exist, walmart will do a takeover. I'd rather give my money to an Indian than a foreigner. Also a lot of times, local shops have stale products and bad customer service. World is changing, and we need to adapt.
