Put a selectable locker in the burnout truck, figure out which direction you you wanna go when you do 4wd donuts Lock the diff but leave the outside hub unlocked. Should help a lot with the axle hop. Maybe as well as disconnect the sway bar so when you’re turning more weight is unloading from the inside front

If the knuckles seem worn and the ball joints want to come out again you could tack them in and just cut the tacks later if you needed to get them back out. But if they fail again you should look at American Iron Offroads ball joint delete kit for that axle. It's what most rock crawlers who swap that axle in end up using for big tires.

Ole cleet needs to buy some industrial fans to put on one side of the pit so that all the smoke gets blown away and we would be able to see the cars instead of just smoke.

We use airboats at drift events sometimes. They have airboats, so I don't see why that wouldn't work here

You should put RCV axles in the front end, They are cv axles, lifetime warranty with no hp or tire size limitations. Rock bouncers abuse these axle at full turn and they hold.

Not a bad idea. A cheap alternative too is they could weld some more metal to the factory steering stoppers on the knuckles so you can’t allow yourself to bind the U-Joints as bad. Would obviously lose a bit of turn radius though 🤣

Just a thought with welding the front differential. Because you have lock out hubs you can weld it and just lock one hub in. It would only be three wheel technically but would much more predictable for wipping around

@JH Diesel and 4x4. I have the BD Diesel tap shifter on my 5R110. You can choose ALL the gears manually 4th or 5th included. And you just use the buttons on the new shifter. You leave it in drive on the shifter, will see all the gears on it's display. It might make controlling the shifts easier on the burnout truck for you to just push the buttons up and down, instead of moving the shifter. I love it for towing as I can just drop it down to 4th still locked up for hills.

Need to find a way to setup a transbrake that way you can spool even higher without using brakes. Would hit harded and instantly with full boost to get them all spinning and keep tighter initial dounut. Maybe even plumb the windshield washer to wet the front tires a tad to help them slip and not let front hop or push. Respect for the videos and channel

Hey so one thing I think making a rig "nice" for burnouts so maybe slam it and some nice lights and then rebuild the rear end. Now Greg has been running the old 12 valve Cummins for multiple events and it still running strong and this is full limiter and far exceeds the boundaries of a Diesel. Now the 6.0L power stroke isn't a bad setup but it's not designed to last on limiter and I suggest doing a once over before your next event to ensure some longevity for that motor.

Hey guys. You need to stiffen up your shocks or springs. Just look at what people do to make cars drift and what we do to burnout cars. We stiffen up the suspension and take out body roll. And it makes the car skate around and it makes the cars eseyer to handle while playing around lol. Cain hard guys.

4 HIGH will work if you have the same gear ratios in both axles. On low grip environments, the difference in gearing in high wouldn't matter because there would be no binding between rotation of front and rear wheels. In high traction, a difference in gearing/wheel rotation speed between front and back will just break stuff.

Back in the day they had single E-brakes on the old VW sand rails. You could lock up one tire at a time. Imagine if you had something similar but for the front wheels on the truck. Then you could flick the truck any direction and when you lock up one side the opposite will spin like crazy. Just a thought

Use your washer fluid pump and dump water in front of the driverside front tire to help get the tire spinning, and once she’s spinning, you don’t need to worry about it.

You will want to swap to a CV style front axle shaft. It will eliminate tire shake while turning and have the same strength as straight when turning unlike the u-joint style. Leaned this treating my XJ like a rock bouncer

You need a 5 or 10 gallon water injection. For the tires, a hose spraying directly on each tire would make them much easier to spin. Bleach will double the smoke and melts the tires...but the fumes may kill you.😂😂😂

Hey guys just my 10 cents but you may wanna set the steering angle bumps more than the factory setting because from the factory at max steering angle the u joints bind a bit and under full throttle I guarantee you will delete the front axles / u joints again

Would you want the truck as light as you can so there is less load on the drivetrain? I would think if you made the truck look like a truck but just the skin you would have a more power to weight and stress on everything? Thank you for great content on your channel.
