You can knock off the Nobody's mask by interrupting his animation when he's putting it on. It's tricky but you can break all his masks this way.

You should have covered where to hit certain enemies so you can stagger them quicker. For example: an unchained behemoth will stagger quicker If hit from behind than in the face, even though it takes less damage from behind. And you forgot the ultimate weak point, the face of a death scissors!

Thats actually what i'v been looking for here and about the scissor guys thats the only counter i know of. If you manage to time your attack with his (not his spinning stinger style attack) his mask emits a red smoke and if you shoot it then with your gun it's and instakill.

You can break the tentacle mask from nobodies if you hit their face hard enough. Dante's normal DT's stinger can do it pretty efficiently
@CRAZEH2475 жыл бұрын
I think you possibly missed something with the Nobodies and the red tentacle mask that they wear. I'm fairly certain I've accidentally parried something in that mask state and the mask falling off as they get stunned. I've not particularly tried to recreate that scenario but it's happened on accident quite a lot of times. Luckily the third part talking about weaknesses is the most obvious to me as I'd noticed them too, but not exact amount of percentages. With the weakpoints I think you missed out Death Scissors. They gain a major weakpoint way before being anywhere close to death. Their head glows red and you can do ANY one attack and as long as it hits their head they die in one hit. The one thing I wonder that you haven't covered is whether the different elemental weapons follow the same percentages in relative manner as Dante, or that certain elements are weaker for enemies. Or even that the different versions with DSS and Rebellion or DSD do different damage etc etc. I know that'd be too much work because this is already a huge amount of work that you've done man. Amazing. I just wish there was a mod or something that showed a live counter of the style points that you accumulate or gain/lose in a combat sequence when you hit or taunt or take damage or get knocked down etc. Edit: Also, if you want to unlock HaH mode, just finish the prologue in DMD. That's how I did it. The problem with that was, I had to then go back to die in the prologue so the game would allow me to pick Mission 02 for DMD XD

Someone on the DMC subreddit did do a write-up for Dante's swords, it's called "A Breakdown of Dante's sword damage and DT bonuses." Basically, Sparda deals slightly higher damage with attacks that transform the sword. The Dante sword deals the same damage with Dance Macabre as Sparda. I do suggest looking up the full post though, it has some good info. The OP somehow managed to calculate the DT flat bonus wrong, but he did say math isn't his specialty.

@@MrAgentIncognito Ah, fair fair. I haven't really been searching around for these things myself so because I'm subscribed to this is the only reason why I even watched.
@@CRAZEH247 To answer your elemental damage question: Baphomet, Pyrobat, and Hellbat have elemental resistances and bonuses. I believe the Qliphoth roots/boss also take bonus damage from fire, but I can't confirm by how much. Baphomet takes half damage from ice and 25% bonus from fire. Pyrobats take 3/4 damage from fire and 25% bonus from ice. Hellbats take half damage from fire and a 30% bonus from ice (ice bonus might be off). However, if you want to be efficient against both of the bats, use lightning because they take TRIPLE DAMAGE from it. These bonuses stack with whatever modifiers are already in place, such a Pyrobat's 1.5 bonus for melee damage or Hellbat's fire aura. To clarify weapon elements: Exceed slashes, Ignited Balrog attacks, and fire Cerberus are all treated as fire. This means some of Balrog's non-ignited attacks are stronger than their ignited versions against the bats. Ice Cerberus is the only ice damage I know of. Electric Cerberus and Griffon are both lightning, except Griffon's Flank Attack, and remember projectiles don't get Pyrobat's 1.5 bonus. I tried Overture and Cavaliere, but couldn't get the lightning bonus to proc. I didn't test Overture's bonus on terrain contact or all of Cavaliere's attacks.

@@MrAgentIncognito Seems you've already done a lot of your own research. Wow. Whilst I'm sat here avoiding everything because of April Fool's. Bloody Palace was already in the game eh? Capcom does it again. 10 years and still doing the same thing XD. @MrAgentIncognito5 жыл бұрын
Scudo: Isn't their DT damage because of separate bonuses for DT and breaking the shield? So if they take 150% if you break their shield, but they normally take 50% damage during DT, then that's 1.5*.5=.75, or 75% of regular damage. Did you test on other difficulties? Hellbat: Their spinal sac also takes regular damage as a different hitzone. Empusa Queen also gets another modifier when she's enraged/red. That Nobody mask order info sounds wrong. I remember when I was testing against him in the void I got red mask last and it still could be knocked off for the damage bonus. You can also parry his mask changing animation and one of the red mask's charge/jump attacks to remove the masks quickly. The Nobody masks are pretty unique in that they can be knocked off with enemy health set to off, so I suggest doing some tests with that setting in the Void.

The Red Mode for Empusa Queen comes from sucking blood. Either yours if they grab you and you don't DT out of it, or they can suck from puddles on the ground that other enemies leave

You missed Sin Scissors. They have a huge weak point. Parry their scissors, wait for their face to turn red and they die to a single bullet. Also proto angelo can be bullied to death using only Dante's shotgun, though you will need to use gunslinger to fire some charged shots.

Love how even after a year of playing this game everyday I still can’t fight the furies properly
@ravioli46013 жыл бұрын
Parries can leave them wide open for counterattacks. If you don't know how to parry, then just perform an attack just at the right time so that the enemy's attack clashes with yours. Parries also work on enemies like Scudo and Proto Angelo, etc. Buster attacks can also help if you're playing as Nero since Furies can instantly zip out of your combos, so don't get too greedy. I also recommend clearing out any enemy on the battlefield before the Fury so you won't get blindsided while trying to fight off other enemies. Hope this helps.

This is incredibly stupid, why don't they include an enemy encyclopedia in the menus , enemy entries are added once one of each enemy is killed for the first time in game. I'm on my second playthrough and the game would be so much more fun if I knew the optimal way to kill each enemy with quick in game tips and encyclopedia the game would be that much more fun. I dont want to go out of my way and watch long videos, written guides, and spend hours in the void outside of the game to understand how to play the game.

Very good stuff ! Very interesting, I really enjoy those kind of analysis. Hope you make a lot of videos about all that. Not only enemies but weapons too, I'm trying to figure out how many punches with Balrog I need to stun enemies and if every enemies can be stunned. And just in case you didn't figure it out by now : you can " parry " the mask change of the nobody. I don't remember the exact timing but you can hit the mask as it is placing it on it's face. This making it maskless way faster.
