Just want to point out, every other game calls immunity "Poise". It's abit difficult splitting from that term since immunity in it's own is a very vague word than is used for a variety of terms in RPGs of all kinds. I respect the video. It's pretty good.

@@Broly2012 No problem. Poise is a common term used in 3D games like Dark Souls, BloodBorne, Elder Scrolls, Nioh, etc. It's the term for "natural stagger resistance". The second definition is the one used in this instance. poise1 /poiz/ noun 1. graceful and elegant bearing in a person. "poise and good deportment can be cultivated" synonyms: balance, equilibrium, control, grace, gracefulness, presence "poise and good deportment can be cultivated" 2. ARCHAIC balance; equilibrium. verb 1. be or cause to be balanced or suspended. "he poised motionless on his toes" synonyms: balance, hold (oneself) steady, steady oneself, be suspended, hang suspended, remain motionless, hang in midair, hang, hover "the dancer was poised on one foot" EDIT: Why we use poise is because its a short great way to describe Strong Balance. AKA resistance to flinching and/or knockdown I hope this helped. It's better if we keep terminology consistent across games opposed to having different terms for the same things.

Broly2012 also to add to that theres also two types of “immunities”. Poise is the passive anti-stagger seen in the video. Poise has a health to it and can be broken. But theres also something called Super/Hyper armor that refers to when someone is unstaggerable while attacking. This generally correlates to the attack frames and isnt related to “poise health” tho i guess it still can be in certain instances. So something like the running scythe attack being unstaggerable during the attack would be hyperarmor.

Broly2012 Hmmm id say its a situation where the hyper armor is effected by the poise health. If i had to guess the scythe attack is unstaggerable from incoming neros melee attacks BUT because the light class has zero poise health they can still be grabbed. So that grab will always work when poise is 0, despite the hyper armor protecting them. This is all speculation ofc. Its hard to tell what is going on with just the nero perspective. As idk if the poise is determined by hits OR if its an actual poise HP amount and that every weapon or special attack does its own poise damage amount... Cus maybe breaking them out of hyper armor maybe correlates to a weapons poise dmg. And maybe nero cant break em out of it but maybe the motorcycle could IDK shits complicated when we aint know whats going on bts

You can launch super heavy with Punchline and pull them wih Rawhide once they are vulnerable to Buster

Great video. Really helpful and I appreciate how you broke things down. I would like to note (and maybe you can test this) but hell antorra can be knocked down to the ground by Split and Double Down with out entering “Rage” or “Dead Weight” mode. When you use those moves and jump cancel before they hit the ground, they fall flat on their face and you are then able to use Snatch to get them back up into the air. Caveat: I have not done this on DMD mode so I am not sure if this holds true there.

Just for reference: 1. Only Empusa Queen and Behomoh (S. heavy class) cannot be caught by Rawhide Breakage. 2. Punchline breakage can launch or knockdown S. heavy class, but without flinch you cannot buster Empusa Queen in this situation (as Goliath) 3. About snatch: Hell Judecca can be pulled to Nero once flinched; Red Empusa and Proto Angelo can be pulled to Nero once flinched but Nero pulled to them while not flinched; Nobody, whether flinched or not, makes Nero pulled to it. I think these 4 should be in the same weight class. The only diffidence is Hell Judecca had less immunity. 4. Chaos had more immunity but after the back spike broken, it loses immunity and behaves just like Light class. 5. IMO, Fury as Light class, and Death Scissors as Heavy class.

Some notes to add, for behemoth, if you made him flinch, a ground bounce will floor him for a short time. Doesn't work on queen tho. And it's possible to kill a hell scissor without ever letting it block an attack/ break the scissors. For Nero and V , chances are you'll kill him like that if you fought them with other mobs around. A charge shot will stun scissors, and it will flinch and can get snatched so I'll probably think of it as a special mid class. By the way, Nobodies tend to act like mid class if you knock away all its masks.

Holy shit i didnt know nobodies can be juggled. Major props for doing that spreadsheet and doing the work. One thing id like to add: the death scissors. I forget if this has a name but i think its a mechanic carried over from dmc1. But its like, after you break the first scissors you can wait a moment and then shoot them to insta kill them or somethinng? I just learned about it so dont know the full details

Death Scissors take literally 1 shot/hit to kill if you parry one of their attacks, and to my knowledge every attack they have is parry-able As long as their face turns red they're good to go Oh they're also 1 hit kills while they're making themselves a new pair of scissors

@@notthebest3668 It's based on what the mission difficulty in the continue option is set to. If you cleared M20 on SoS, then continue should select the prologue of DMD.

Wouldn't this mean the Light-weight category gain a weight class when they enter DT? I'm surprised you didn't mention the Heavy category could be snatched after they flinch and the Super Heavy duo can be pulled a little bit with Rawhide after a flinch.
