DMZ excursion by train, Seoul - Dorasan. South-Korea to the border with North Korea.

Visit the DMZ from Seoul by train, operated by Korail. This video is different from my other trip-reports since it's a video about an excursion by train. From Dorasan station (most excursions to the DMZ will visit this place as well) a bus will take you into the DMZ.

Great to hear. Somehow I noticed other trains now on this route, so keep this in mind. However I guess the entire experience is basically the same.

For me that remember the Iron Curtain and travel by train from Sweden to Berlin (West) over East Germany and also to Hungary with all border controlls. I still have those pictures in my head.

Interesting video The DMZ train livery including the floral interior and the other things seen such as the museum and also the room where there was stuff about Germany it sends a powerful message of peace and that south Korea wants reunification with the North

Thank you! The video is very interesting! Apparently the DMZ train was suspended in Oct 2019 and has not yet resumed operation.

THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR I LIKE DMZ TRAINS AND I WANT TO RIDE WHEN I WILL BIG IN 27 YEARS OLD THEN THE TRAIN GOES FROM SEOUL TO DORASAN BECAUSE TRANS KOREAN RAILWAY WILL BE RUNNING BETWEEN 2 KOREAN CITIES AND LONDON OR LISBON OF PORTUGAL BECAUSE THE LISBON IS THE FAMOUS CITY AND ALSO LONDON ID THE FAMOUS CITY AND YOU KNOW WHAT THE YIWU-LONDON TRAIN HAD OPENED ALSO THE YIWU-MADRID TRAIN OPENED FOR FEW YEAR THAT IS CALLED SILK ROAD AND THE TRAINS ARE RUNNING BETWEEN EUROPE AND CHINA IT IS RUNNING

The 2nd Korean war is unpredictable but I hope 2 Koreas will be reunited and Kim Jong un will be brought to justice in Netherlands.
