I work in medical research and I honestly think this is a brilliant idea. Researchers hate having to find patients. And there are tons of people willing to make a quick buck being a part of experiments but can find studies. It’s natural place for facilitator to take advantage of.

Well...not necessarily because having watched the show for over a decade, we all know who tends to gravitate towards what sector. something I find fascinating... the sharks (including mark cuban) getting engaged in the health care space... opens doors to other cascades of issues. The PBM's... the elevation of think tanks and/or academia... what is Value...? The connections of what investment and choices... are involved in authentic community connections. I have always been amazed how real life work creates a personal and blended sphere of education which we enter with our own past experiences and lenses... as time goes on... we learn and apply... the hustle and the grinding and the stake holder investing understanding that rushing sometimes causes back lash and sometimes it hastens the adoption curves... these learnings convert to advocacy and the learning which also blends into a layer of confluence and the respect for the market and community spaces.... The work of health, climate and tools is very very large and very needed.

He came to Shark Tank with a 12% offer and getting twice the amount of money he asked for at just 2.5% more equity which he knew coming in would definitely be negotiated, didn't even put a smile on his face, rather he had the look of someone who'd been robbed at gunpoint in a dark alley. If I'm not wrong, Richard invested in Ring (originally doorbot) which Amazon bought for a billion dollars and Mark along with the sharks missed out on that opportunity. To sum up, Mark paid extra to the entrepreneur from DNA simple out of sheer competition with Richard instead of professional competence.

Welp when money is involved you'd be surprised at how many people are willing to experiment with their bodies for science I live near a place that conducts for science reserach and they have people lined up outside the doors for studies that pay from $35 to $100 bucks. And they take your identifying information such as your name and everything else. 🙄 From what I'm told some of their longer studies give more money and take a matter of weeks to complete.
