My bard is actually much worse due to being college of whispers and having the sharpshooter feat. Meaning he will make sure that steel bolt from his crossbow sinks deep into your skin and burns your mind with psychic damage before he casts heat metal on it.

Not related to the stories, but I love how Stray had the cat just collapse dramatically after wearing the vest for the first time. That is exactly how cats react to having shit put on them, I know because I put harnesses on cats before and these dramatic little shits didn't take two steps before they took similar dramatic prat falls themselves and it is the funniest shit I have ever seen an animal do.

I honestly wonder what goes through the heads of people who play a ttrpg just to act out their horrible fetishes on an unaware (and often unwilling) audience. I shouldn't leave a session knowing more about what gets you off than I did going in, especially if we don't actually know each other IRL. Also, the stuff about Necro screwing with OP with their commission was frustrating, what's even the point of having a progress report if you're just going to ignore them until they're finished? Just time and effort wasted for no reason.

The "enemy-to-bones"-spell (without a save) at LEVEL 2 (!) was SUPER-OP! That sounds like something a high level spellcaster could do against low-level EXTRAS. This "spell" was the biggest red flag. The guy could just as well raised the red flag from the top of the reichstag!

My first 5e table had a Problem Player Power Couple. They were a married couple that were playing before I got invited to the table, so I have no clue how they met our DM. Husband had a short fuse both in and out of character, and mained paladin just to bully everyone into doing what he wanted. Wife's favorite game wasn’t DnD, but misery poker. I remember one instance during a break where one player was venting to me about her creepy ex, and Wife had to butt in and say "well, if you think that's bad, [Husband] got fired from his job again" Yes, AGAIN- the man couldn't hold a job because of his temper. They had a similar "one talks to the other like a child" dynamic, but it was Wife who did this to Husband, mostly to calm him down like a toddler having a meltdown. It kinda creeped me out, if I was being honest. Biggest incident was that when we started a new campaign and the DM had what I would consider a reasonable limit- "PHB only, level one, and play a class and race you never played before." Wife whined that we couldn't do anything fun at level 1, then threw a fit when DM didn't budge. Husband just had a searing meltdown (he wanted to play another paladin) and sulked in the car until Wife left the session with him. They came back with lvl 1 characters next session, acting like their behavior didn't happen, and refused to talk about it. Our DM ended up moving out of town, and we had to go on hiatus for a bit. When we got back together for online sessions we just... didn't tell them. I got cornered by Husband one day at the supermarket when he tried grilling me about the group. I'm still not sure if he was trying to be genuinely friendly or trying to scare me. I never saw him smile until that day, and oh lawdy he looks like an absolute psycho when he smiles. I've been blessed with a poker face, so I straight up lied to him and said we never got the group back together. He then got really sulky (like that was gonna win me over) and I quickly made an excuse to leave. Thankfully he was working, so he couldn't follow me.

Regarding the pot Brownie - turns out, marijuana is toxic to dogs too. So even if it was (somehow) a chocolate-free pot brownie, you *_still_* don't feed it to your dog.

Ah, yes. One of the two ways people resonate with the "you can do anything" part of describing TTRPGs. Most people who really take that on board will use it to go deep on immersion. A few, like Not Tiefling, use it to justify doing random, disruptive nonsense.

just going to point this out because its kind of an odd thing I know from a neighbor of mine who had to deal with it apparently his dog "somehow" inhaled and got poised from some pot smoke or something while his kid was watching the dog and it had to be taken to the vet it survived but it was a costly and very unhealthy thing to have happen to it so feeding a dog a pot brownie even if it didn't have chocolate would probably still be fatal or at least seriously poisonous to it also "Marijuana is toxic to cats, dogs, and horses. Animals process many compounds differently than humans do, and as a result, many foods and medications that are safe for us are not safe for them." so pot in general is probably not something to give pets so yeah bad pet owners

Pot brownies aren’t just poison for dogs because of the chocolate, but also marijuana. I had a friend whose dog got really sick because she ate some discarded marijuana - apparently vets have reported an uptick in marijuana poisoning in dogs since it was legalized in Massachusetts. The dog made a full recovery I believe in legalizing it, but please don’t just litter the streets with discarded joints

As much as its polite to not leave finished joints everywhere people also need to be properly training their dogs? Why the f are the dogs randomly eating things off the ground? Thats 1000% a behaviour that is easy to train out of a dog and 1000% should have been as soon as you started taking it outside. Its likely owners smoking too close to dogs. Either that or for some reason no one actually bothers to teach a dog how to act in public for its own safety. There's a dummy long list of things a dog might eat on the ground other than weed that would be really bad, it should already be trained not too because of that before anything was legalized. Mine would never 😂 but then again i actually bother to look up how to train them properly and brought it too a trainer as a pup.

Some of the worst players I've seen are couples. Some were a case of "player's girlfriend", but when both are actually gamers so much BS and drama. But NOTHING like this. NotTeifling didn't have the maturity to be at a table. Lots of the reasons I don't like playing with junior high kids, but also a creep. Feetcreep. Wow. Good riddence.
