Wow! What a great way to start off 2024!! First class as always Dom, love the camera views, especially all the inputs on the yoke and seeing how the aircraft reacts on the main screen! Just brilliant and what an aircraft, many thanks for sharing, take care brother!

I had to rewatch this video, I had a terrible arrival but the takeoff was sunny and weather like this. The pilot did a very lazy circle as we climbed out, and I got to see the Alps a bit. I will never forget it.

Good to have you back, Dom. I missed these videos. They always put me in a very calm state before bed. I guess it's the flying through the clouds that mesmerizes me, along with the lush green valleys. Your country is so beautiful. Hope you're doing well and everything is going smoothly. The extra camera gives us insight into the steering you do to land it. I can hear when you disconnect the Auto and are aware that you're now in control. See you around.

Thank you so much for this comment. I am preparing a few more videos for the next few weeks and months, some with some more action in it, but i am also thinking of taking this oportunity and show myself more on camera and talk about... aviation :) Il see if i have the guts to do so, i always felt quite comfy behind the cam instead of infront of it. Il see. But i want to try out new formats, but definitely keep these classic noseview videos as well. This will be watched by my boys when they are a bit older, so i want to open it up a wee bit more. Again thank you for your kind comment, i wish you all the best for this new year, thx for the support! cheers,dominic

So beautiful! I guess these pilot view videos can be very helpful for people with a fear of flying. In the cabin you can't usually see anything what's going on outside - especially in front of the plane. And when there are heavy winds and airholes it's very difficult to imagine that the pilot and the others in the cockpit have everything under control. - I really think it can help. Thank you so much for this relaxing video dear Dominic. 💖🙂

Your comment made my day! thank you dear friend, I hope these kind of videos do help people understand more about what actually is happening upfront. Glad you see it with my eyes too. Have a great evening and again, thank you! Dominic 🫂

Human beings are visual beings. If they can watch something they are more able to feel it and understand what's going on. These are my thoughts about it. - It makes me happy to "have made your day". 💖🙂@@dnhug

Just Boeing 🫣 it‘s like an american car. It looks nice, it has power and the sound is amazing. But the quality and workmanship of the interior is absolutely embarrassing sometimes.

Thanks Dom for those videos - always interesting to watch, but also very enjoyable due to the beautiful scenery. I got VERY lucky last year. One of your colleagues invited me along to join him and two colleagues for an 4 hour session in a 777 simulator 🙂. They ran through a whole range of scenarios (e.g. engine stall due volcano ashes, unreliable air speed, smoke in cockpit) - and it was fascinating to witness not only how the crew reacted to the scenarios, but also the debrief after. What was good, what could have been done better. All feedback was given and taken extremely openly and professionally - no egos involved. This is how your learn. But the highlight of course was at the end, when my friend said: "now its your turn". Luckily I have roughly 200 hours 'on the clock' on my MSFS flying an Airbus A320 - so gladly I didn't make a fool out of myself 😋. Taking off on RWY 14 (no tail strike) , left hand traffic pattern, join the ILS on RWY 14 before leveling off for a low flyby. Then right hand downwind, before turning again for a rather tight visual approach and landing (luckily not crashing 😎) on RWY 14. Something I'll never forget. That will be the closest I ever get to flying an aircraft like this.

Hey Stephan! wow! that indeed sounds like a experience one will not forget in a lifetime! awesome! i am sure the time "flew by" (no pun intended), and you had a great time flying the big lady around the field! Especially when youre from here and know the landmarks to visually navigate around, its so much fun indeed. The sim sessions that you could see are an excellent tool to train these abnormal situations, its so very crucial to train. Thank you very much for watching, your kind comment and anecdote about the sim session! All the best for the new year! dominic

awesome video, how was there no marshaller on the stand?
@dnhug9 ай бұрын
Thank you! There are only marshallers on the hard stands with no gates in Zurich. We now even have automated jetways that dock to the plane on their own. Cool stuff. Cheers!
@hoodio9 ай бұрын
@@dnhug that's cool, so you don't have to park that precisely?
@dnhug9 ай бұрын
No not because of that, the precision on parking remains the same. The cool thing is that no personnel is needed to operate the jetway, it positioned itself perfectly and docks fully autonomously to the plane. AI steered I suppose. Il maybe do video on that as it doesn’t seem to be Implemented a lot so far. But for the marshaller issue, only when there’s no electronically guidance system available or it’s inoperative.

That is a very extreme viewpoint, but I respect your opinion. Is the amount flown and shipped adequate or necessary? I’m not sure either if this is the place to have this discussion.
