Hi Varun, you answered the question at 12:16, any increase in the Br has to come from the Bs and of course the 'working mmf' B net like B mutual in a transformer stays the same. This explaination , while sutle, I think is very important to understand as the fundamental mechanism of transfering energy across the gap, or from primary to secondary in the transformer, as always thank you so you SO much!

Sir how to draw Br ,Er and Bs phasors and how you tell 90degrees bw Br and Ir. Plese reply sir
@jyotikamaldas39174 жыл бұрын
Speed of rotor field=speed of the rotor +s×syncronous speed=syncronous speed=speed of stator field.So, both of the fields will rotate syncronously

Hi Varun, at 6:37 you tell us that B net is constant. Is this a similar reason to B mutual being constant in a transformer? Can one think of B net as the 'working mmf' that must stay constant just like the B mutual in a transformer? Similar equivalent circuits lead me to think this is true?

Hi Varun, at 12:58 in this video, the equivalent circuit you are discussing needs r2 not r2/s, because you are having x2= s x20 discussion. Hope you are well today.

Sir why Ir and Br are 90 degree apart

+Why ?
@larrydurante66704 жыл бұрын
Hi Varun, Why wouldn't the no load magnetizing current just produce the stator side magnetizing flux? And the rotor side current product only the rotor side flux? Then the net would be the sum. But isn't the complication that the stator side is system frequency and the rotor side a function of relative speed, so thus the flux in the rotor is a different frequency? Not sure how we still just add them like phasors as you have already explained we can't do that with different frequencies :)

Sir at 16.07 you said that Bnet will be const. Howcome sir since Bnet is a Vector Sum of Bs and Br. Now when we load the motor Bs increases and Br also increases as Ir increases. Therefore Bnet will also increase. Also why Bnet is in Phase with Er.

As this is not a phasor diagram... so the Bnet is kept in the same phase in space with Er just for the sake of simplicity of the later calculation... I also had this doubt but I think this is the reason. I hope this explanation might help.

Sir wont that B(r) will lead the induced emf phasor?
@sanyammaheshwari75754 жыл бұрын
Sir, you said in equivalent circuit video that E20 i.e blocked rotor voltage. And E2 which is equal to sE20 which will be less than E20 always. So according to that E20 will be higher at starting and will start decreasing when load increases.
@ElectricalisEasy4 жыл бұрын
E20 is not dependent on starting or running it is just the blocked rotor voltage..i.e the voltage when the rotor is not moving.
