I agree with another apologist that those in non-catholic sects who have been properly baptized (in the Trinitarian formula); are indeed our fallen away brothers and sisters. However the churches they worship in are not Christian Worship or Christian Churches. St. Ignatius in 107AD spelled out some of the hallmarks of an Authenticate Christian Worship and Church. These Churches should have 1) Authenticate Apostolic Succession as opposed to self-appointed and self-titled ones such as in teh Anglican Communion or tv preachers like the so-called 'bishop-Dale'. 2) Have unity with the Chair of Peter. 3) Believe in the Real Presence in the Eucharist as Catholic Dogma declares it as opposed to those who say it is con-substantial or merely symbolic. If a particular sect cannot affirm at least these hallmarks; then it is not a Christian Church, or Christian Worship. The people there may be Christians; but the rest is not. ""Heretics abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer, because they do not confess that the Eucharist is the Flesh of our Savior Jesus Christ." St. Ignatius of Antioch, "Epistle to the Smyrneans," c. 105 A.D.

I love your channel and as a returned Catholic, I am intrigued in your story of being in the military and being a Catholic especially if you have served and gone into mortal combat. You have explained and helped me immensely. Could you please do video episode of you in the military in conjunction with you being a child of God and reconciling the two. Once again TCM has provided us with an excellent explanation of the imperative importance of Our Most Holy Catholic Church. Can someone be a Christian if they deny any of the doctrines of the Catholic Church found in the Bible. For instance, when Jesus teaches in Mark 16:16 that "Faith PLUS Baptism" are required for Salvation, our non-Catholic brothers and sisters teach that only the Faith part of what Jesus taught is necessary, but the baptism part is not. Can you call yourself a Christian if you accept some of our teachings in the Bible but deny others? Jesus is the Christ - the Messiah - the Anointed That is what the word "Christ" means - to be anointed. And when was Christ anointed? At His Baptism in the River Jordan by John the Baptist, when the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus, and God said, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased." Mt. 3:16 "And when Jesus was baptized, he went up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and alighting on him; 17 and lo, a voice from heaven, saying, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” So to be called a "Christian" means that we have also been anointed just like Jesus. And when does that anointing happen? When we are Baptized of course. And when we come up out of the water our sins are forgiven and just like Jesus, the Holy Spirit descends upon us, and God is then able to say about us, " This is my beloved son, with whom I am well pleased." This is the moment we can be called a Christian, becoming an adopted child of God - anointed with the Holy Spirit. So if non-Catholics love Jesus but deny Baptism, can they really be called "Christians"? To be a Christian is to be anointed in the Sacrament of Baptism. How else can one receive the Holy Spirit and be saved? Being "spiritual" is not enough. We must be anointed.

God does care that's why Jesus had to come down in the flesh for the world. The pharisees and saducees were not believing in what they should prioritize etc..By the way brother just a suggestion perhaps do a video on your favorite Catholic speakers such as Fulton J. Sheen, Brant Pitre, etc....I have a channel too it's Danspiritualmessages if you want to watch. It's very bland but I try to do what I can to spread God's message. God bless.

In the Early Church, there is the true Church Jesus founded and the rest are heresies. Matt 24:24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Shouldn't we need to hear the Truth amongst the noise and errorneous teachings Jesus warned us about in the verse above ?

Excellent point Jeremiah, and so true. And just like TCM said in this video, Christ made His Church very visible and very accessible for the people of the world to enter into. It has never been hidden from anyone. The Early Church is the same Church of today, but because of the false prophets many people are being deceived about what is true and what is not. Let's keep them in our prayers.

@Jeremiah Ong: True! As Catholics we need to make a distinction between the denomination and the individual. While the various Protestant sects may have had beginnings in heresy, it is possible by God’s grace that Protestant believers can be saved.
