Catholics often hear, "Why do you think you have to confess your sins to a man? All you have to do is go straight to God!" In this video, I cover multiple reasons why Catholics confess their sins to a priest. I'll give you a sneak peek...It's because Jesus said so! 😉 See you in the video! #catholic #confession #catholism #thecatholicmarine

God created the human psyche and of course knows what we need for our happiness! Ven. Bp. Fulton Sheen said a psychologist once told him that if everyone went to confession he would be out of business. The Latin mass has been a subject of debate of late especially the Easter mass where Lucifer is venerated. Why do mass in the unknown Latin yet the original language of the Bible is Hebrew.! If Lucifer is worshipped as the light ,and they say the font of "L" makes the difference between the evil Lucifer and the bad one just as they lied that "G" in God and god makes a difference when it's exactly the same word, pronounced the same.

Bro, I was in line today to get my confession, and the priest cut my brother and me off because he "ran out of time." Usually, on Saturdays, confessions would be made half an hour to an hour before Saturday mass for about an hour. My brother and I were at the tail end of the line. He had to end it, with the only two people left in line.

Quite often, fundamentalist flamers show up to unload a barrage. These people never respond to questions or objections, but only wish to hear themselves talk. It's much easier to make generalized, unsubstantiated claims than it is to actually track down the facts. Especially when the "facts" you claim are proven to be non-existent. 'Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.' John 7:24" "A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion." (Proverbs 18:2) . In other words, you are simply reading propaganda. Not that you seem to have a particular bias (sarcasm). I am in awe of your arrogance. You sit in judgment, falsely slandering others, always excusing yourself in your self-righteousness. Hate to break it to all my extra holy protestant brethren, but "The mother of harlots" (not the whore) of rev 17 is the city of Jerusalem. Her 2 daughters are Israel and Judah, who played the harlot in their fathers house, her sisters are Sodom, Babylon and Egypt. Try reading the bible. When the Whore falls we read, "'Rejoice over her, O heaven! Rejoice, saints and apostles and prophets! God has judged her for the way she treated you'. . . . In her was found the blood of prophets and of the saints, and of all who have been killed on the earth" (Rev 18:20 and 24). So, the Whore could not be the Catholic Church because 1) it did not exist to kill the old testament prophets and 2) No blood is on the Churches hand with respect to any Apostle. Prophets existed as a group only in the Old Testament and in the first century (Acts 11:27-28, 13:1, 15:32, 21:10). Since the Whore persecuted apostles and prophets, the Whore must have existed in the first century and BEFORE. WHO KILLED THE PROPHETS Indeed, Jesus himself could not be any clearer in Matthew 23:37: "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to you! Rev 17:5 "Babylon the great, mother of whores and of earth’s abominations.” 6 And I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints and the blood of the witnesses to Jesus...." Rev 17:18 The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.” Rev 18:10 "Alas, alas, the great city, Babylon, the mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.” Rev 18:20 "Rejoice over her, O heaven, you saints and apostles and prophets! For God has given judgment for you against her.' SO WHO IS BABYLON - THE GREAT CITY MOTHER OF WHORES ANSWER REV 1:8 The GREAT CITY "where also their lord was crucified - JERUSALEM NOT ROME Passages of Revelation pertaining to the whore or the harlot makes sense when it is referring to ancient PAGAN Rome but makes no sense when Fundamentalists try to associate it with modern Rome. The passage says that the Whore will have power over kings. Modern Rome has no power over modern "kings", in fact there are almost no kings left in the world. Nor does the Church (which rests on Vatican hill outside of the 7 hills of Rome) have power over political leaders, otherwise ABORTION, PORNOGRAPHY, and HOMOSEXUALITY with HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGE would not be legal in the civilized world. Revelation says that the whore was the center of commerce. (Rev 18:17-19) No economist today will say that modern Rome or the church is a leader in commerce. The US, Japan, etc are. However, ancient Pagan Rome was a leader in commerce. The Vatican is on Vatican hill and outside the 7 hills of Rome that that city is built on. And it MUST be noted the bibles including the KJV translate it not as hill but as mountain. Revelation 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. Jerusalem is built on 7 mounts. One source, jesus-messiah.com/prophecy/rev-13.html, lists the seven, and explains a bit more of why some authors list different mountains, and includes a map: 1.) Mount Gared; 2.) Mount Goath; 3.) Mount Acra; 4.) Mount Bezetha; 5.) Mount Moriah; 6.) Mount Ophel; 7.) Mount Zion. The seven mountains upon which Jerusalem was built are (according to wikipedia): Scopus, Nob, Olivet, "Mount of Corruption" or "Mount of Offence", "Mount Zion", the "Ophel Mount" and the new "Mount Zion." Or perhaps interpretations are far more complex than the followers of Jack Chick might expect, Who knows? Perhaps the 7 mountains refer to the 7 continents. Perhaps the harlot is in fact apostate Christianity of a protestant variety. It may not hurt to look at all the possibility bu NO ONE should go about insisting that there interpretation against another faith is correct. It is too convoluted with too many possibilities. And no one should contradict scripture in their assertions.✔✔

Catholic Encyclopedia states, "It is within the city of Rome, called the city of seven hills, that the entire area of Vatican State proper is now confined." Jerusalem was indicted for spiritual fornication by numerous prophets (Isa:1:21), but does not meet the other criteria. Vatican City claims to have been the worldwide headquarters of Christianity since its beginning. Her pope claims to be the Vicar of Christ, and his Church the true Church and bride of Christ. She is clothed in "purple and scarlet" (v 4), the colors of the Catholic clergy. The Catholic Encyclopedia states, Cappa Magna - A cloak with a long train and a hooded shoulder cape...[it] was purple wool for bishops; for cardinals, it was scarlet watered silk.... Cassock - The close-fitting, ankle-length robe worn by the Catholic clergy as their official garb....The color for bishops and other prelates is purple, for cardinals scarlet.... (Emphasis added)4 Her incredible wealth next caught John's eye. She was "decked with gold and precious stones and pearls...." (v 4) Even Christ's blood-stained cross has been turned to gold, reflecting her riches. The Catholic Encyclopedia says, "The pectoral cross [suspended by a chain around the neck of abbots, bishops, archbishops, cardinals and the pope] should be made of gold and...decorated with gems...." 5 She had "a golden cup [chalice] in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication" (v 4). The Catholic Encyclopedia calls the gold chalice "the most important of the sacred vessels...."6 That Church is known for its many thousands of gold chalices around the world. A recent newspaper article reported, The fabulous treasure of Lourdes [France], whose existence was kept secret by the Catholic Church for 120 years, has been unveiled....Rumours have been circulating for decades about a priceless collection of gold chalices, diamond-studded crucifixes, silver and precious stones.... After an indiscreet remark by their press spokesman this week, church authorities agreed to reveal part of the collection... [some] floor-to-ceiling cases were opened to reveal 59 solid gold chalices alongside rings, crucifixes, statues and heavy gold brooches, many encrusted with precious stones. Almost hidden by the other treasures is the "Crown" of Notre Dame de Lourdes, made by a Paris goldsmith in 1876 and studded with diamonds. Church authorities say they cannot put a value on the collection. "I have no idea," says Father Pierre-Marie Charriez. ..."It is of inestimable value." Across the road is a building housing hundreds of [antique] ecclesiastical garments, robes, mitres and sashes--many in heavy gold thread.... "The Church itself is poor," insists Father Charriez. "The Vatican itself is poor." 7 (Emphasis added) [And the treasure described here is only part of that which is kept in one location, the small town of Lourdes, France!] She has practiced evil to gather her wealth, for the "golden cup" is filled with "abominations and filthiness." Much of the wealth of the Roman Catholic Church was acquired by confiscating property of the Inquisitions' pitiful victims. Even the dead were exhumed to face trial and property was taken from their heirs by the Church. That practice, one historian writes, offered "unlimited opportunities for loot."8 Most of Rome's wealth has been acquired through the sale of salvation. Untold billions of dollars have been paid to her by those who thought they were purchasing heaven on the installment plan for themselves or loved ones. The practice continues to this day-blatantly where Catholicism is in control, less obviously here in the United States where (for example) one pays the Church to have a Mass card placed on the altar in the name of the deceased during Mass to reduce time in purgatory. The wealthy often leave a fortune for masses to be said for their salvation after their death. In addition to such perversions of the gospel, there are the further abominations (fully documented in police and court records) of corrupt banking practices, laundering of drug money, trading in counterfeit securities and dealings with the Mafia, which the Vatican and her representatives around the world have long employed. Former Business Week correspondent in Rome, Nino LoBello, who because of its incredible wealth calls Rome "the tycoon on the Tiber," says the Vatican is so closely allied with the Mafia in Italy that "many people...believe that Sicily...is nothing more than a Vatican holding." 9 John's attention is next drawn to the inscription on the woman's forehead: "THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH" (v 5). Sadly enough, the Roman Catholic Church fits that description as precisely as she fits the others. Much of the cause is due to the unbiblical doctrine of priestly celibacy.

@@stanlybarns7720 A golden cup👌👌 Hunt notes that the whore "has 'a golden cup [chalice] in her hand, full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.'" This is another reference to Revelation 17:4. Hunt again cites the Catholic Encyclopedia, this passage describing the Eucharistic chalice as "the most important of the sacred vessels." He says that the "Church is known for its many thousands of gold chalices around the world," and he gives a long quotation about a church in Lourdes, France having a valuable collection of gold chalices. But Hunt's argument is riddled with holes. To make the whore's gold cup suggestive of the Eucharistic chalice, he inserts the word "chalice" in square brackets, though the Greek word here is the ordinary word for cup (poterion), which appears 33 times in the New Testament and is always translated "cup." Hunt ignores that the chalice is used in the celebration of the Lord's Supper -- a ritual commanded by Christ himself (Luke 22:19-20,1 Cor. 11:24-25) -- and he ignores the fact that the overwhelming majority of the Eucharistic chalices Catholics use are not made out of gold, but of other materials, such as brass, silver, glass, and even earthenware (though the interior of the chalice is usually finished with a thin layer of gold -- but so, perhaps, is the wristwatch that Hunt wears). Hunt seems unaware that in the Old Testament it was commanded that gold liturgical vessels and utensils be used (Ex. 25:38-40, 37:23-24, Num. 31:50-51, 2 Chron. 24:14), and he again uses an absurdly literal interpretation, according to which the cup of the whore is not a symbol applying to the single city of Rome, but a collection of thousands of actual cups used in thousands of cities throughout the world. Not surprisingly, Hunt does not attempt to interpret the cup's contents ("abominations and filthiness of her fornication"). The abominations and fornications the whore committed are either spiritual adultery (to which Hunt has already alluded), unholy political alliances (ditto), or the persecution of Christian martyrs (see 17:6, 18:6). They have nothing to do with the wine (and later the blood of Christ) found in Catholic chalices. Finally, Hunt does not even use the rest of the book of Revelation to help him interpret the whore's cup. Elsewhere we are told that it is the cup of God's wrath (Rev. 14:10, 16:9). God mixes his wrath in the whore's cup, "mix[ing] a double draught for her in the cup she mixed" (Rev. 18:6). Again, this has nothing to do with Eucharistic chalices, and when interpreted in context fits either pagan Rome or apostate Jerusalem. Perhaps for good measure, Hunt devotes a few words to the Church's supposed wealth, which he claims to have been "acquired by confiscating property of the Inquisitions' pitiful victims . . . the sale of salvation . . . [t]he wealthy often leav[ing] a fortune for Masses to be said for their salvation after their death . . . corrupt banking practices, laundering of drug money, trading in counterfeit securities, and dealings with the Mafia." This is not even good ad hominem reasoning, since it displays an appalling lack of understanding of Catholic theology -- salvation cannot be sold, and Masses for the dead do not save them -- as well as laughably inaccurate historical claims.

@@stanlybarns7720 Hills or mountains? Hunt's first argument is that the whore "is a city built on seven hills." He identifies these as the seven hills of ancient Rome. This argument is based on Revelation 17:9, which states that the woman sits on seven mountains. To get the passage to say that the woman sits on seven hills, Hunt inserts the words "or hills" into the King James Version (KJV) text from which he quotes. He cites Revelation 17:9 as follows: "And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains [or hills], on which the woman sitteth." Hunt suggests that the Greek word oros, translated by the KJV as "mountain," should instead be translated "hill." Though this is a possible translation, it is unlikely on lexical grounds. Of the 65 occurrences of this word in the New Testament, only three are rendered "hill" by the KJV. The remaining 62 are translated as "mountain" or "mount." Modern Protestant Bible translations have similar ratios. The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) translates oros as "hill" only twice, with the remainder as "mountain" or "mount." Given these numbers, the lexical evidence indicates an overwhelming probability that oros in Revelation 17:9 should be translated "mountain," just as the KJV has it. This blows Hunt's interpretation of the passage wide open. He would have us believe that the "seven hills" refer to the seven hills on which the ancient city of Rome was built, but if the passage states that the whore sits on "seven mountains," the reference could be to anything. The mountains do not even need to be literal, since mountains are common symbols in the Bible. A mountain may symbolize a kingdom. In Daniel 2:35 Christ's kingdom is seen as a mountain. In Psalm 68:15 the kingdom of Bashan is pictured as a mountain. In Obadiah 8-21 the kingdom of Edom is likened to a mountain. In Amos 4:1 and 6:1 the kingdom of Samaria is pictured as a mountain. The "seven mountains" of the whore might be seven kingdoms she reigns over or seven kingdoms with which she has something in common. The number seven may be symbolic, since it often represents completeness in the Bible. If it is symbolic in Revelation 17:9, the seven mountains might symbolize that the whore reigns over all the kingdoms of the earth or (what amounts to the same thing) that she reigns over all the literal mountains of the earth. Even if we grant that oros should be translated "hill" in this passage and that these are seven literal hills, this still does not narrow us down to Rome. Other cities have been built on seven hills, which Hunt admits, stating, "Some other cities are [built on seven hills], but only Rome meets all the criteria, including being known as Babylon." He concedes his argument based on seven hills is inconclusive, even given his unlikely translation. There are further problems with Hunt's argument. Even if we grant that the reference is to Rome, which Rome are we talking about? Pagan Rome or Christian Rome? As we will see, pagan Rome fits Hunt's criteria better than does Christian Rome. When we bring in the distinction between Vatican City -- the city where the Catholic Church is headquartered -- and the city of Rome, Hunt's postulate is even more unlikely, since Vatican City is not built on seven hills, but on only one: Vatican Hill. This hill is not one of the seven Rome was constructed upon. Those seven (the Quirinal, Viminal, Esquiline, Caelian, Aventine, Palatine, and Capitoline hills) are located on the east side of the Tiber River. Vatican Hill is located on the west side.🐱‍💻🐱‍💻

@@stanlybarns7720 Known as Babylon🤦‍♀🤦‍♀ Hunt introduces his second argument in an offhand manner even as he concedes that his first argument is inconclusive. He appeals to a second criterion to prop up his first, stating that the whore will be a city "known as Babylon." This is based on Revelation 17:5, which says the whore's name is "Babylon the Great." (The city's name is not "Mystery Babylon," as some Fundamentalists claim. The word "mystery" indicates that the ascription "Babylon the Great" is a symbolic name, so it can't refer to the city of Babylon rebuilt in Iraq, as some Fundamentalists claimed it must during the Gulf War. The RSV renders the passage better: "and on her forehead was written a name of mystery: 'Babylon the great, mother of harlots and of earth's abominations.'" The phrase "Babylon the great" (Greek, Babulon a megala) occurs five times in Revelation (14:8, 16:9, 17:5,18:2, and 18:21). Light is shed on its meaning when one notices that Babylon is referred to as "the great city" seven times in the book (16:19, 17:18, 18:10, 16, 18, 19, 21). Other than these, there is only one reference to "the great city," (11:8), which states that the bodies of God's two witnesses "will lie in the street of the great city which is allegorically called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified." This verse tells us that "the great city" is symbolically called Sodom. This refers to Jerusalem, which is called "Sodom" in Isaiah 1:10 and Ezekiel 16:1-3, 46-56. (Jerusalem is compared to Sodom in other verses). We know Jerusalem is the "the great city" of Revelation 11:8 because the verse says that city was "where [the] Lord was crucified." Jesus, of course, was crucified at Jerusalem. Revelation consistently speaks as if there were only one "great city" ("the great city"), suggesting that the great city of 11:8 is the same as the great city mentioned in the other seven texts -- Babylon (= Jerusalem). This suggests that Babylon the Great may not be Rome, but Jerusalem. In fact, Hunt admits that Jerusalem fits one of his other criteria (see below). There have been commentators, both Protestant and Catholic, who have adopted this interpretation. One school of Protestant Bible interpreters (the followers of David Chilton) has made this crucial to its interpretation of Revelation, which is viewed as a covenant lawsuit against apostate Jerusalem for its persecution of Christians. Among the Church Fathers it was common to refer to Rome as "Babylon," but even here Hunt has problems because all those references were to pagan Rome, which martyred Christians, rather than to Christian Rome. There also would be the problem that Vatican City did not exist in the days of the Fathers.

I am glad to see that you seem to take your Christian walk seriously. So do we go to the priest to pray a certain part of the Lord’s Prayer every morning? Sharing your sins with God while also forgiving those who sin against you as part of your daily worship with God. Further thoughts, just to cover the scriptures. 1. OT- The High Priest who went into the Holy of Holies had to be without sin. 2.NT- John the Baptist baptised the believer for the forgiveness of their sins; after the believer repented. Who did the believer confess their sins to after this encounter? 3. Just as the High Priest was to be sinless in the OT, Jesus was without sin. His forgiveness of sin was a one time encounter with an individual for their salvation. Who did the person confess their sin to after Jesus moved on to the next town? 4. The Apostles also forgave sin for the salvation of the believer and moved on. The Apostles were not without sin and had to confess to somebody. 5. Church Age - A person is baptised for the forgiveness of sin for salvation. How does one know that he/she is confessing to a sinless priest? Not wanting to debate, but just reasoning to consider. Luke 18:13-14 But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ 14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. PS: God bless you sir.

“…do we go to the priest to pray a certain part of the Lord’s Prayer every morning?” No. We avail ourselves often of the sacrament of confession. Also, In Catholic doctrine, it is necessary to go to confession only if you have committed mortal sin, Although it is encouraged that you go to confession even for venial sin because you get grace through the sacrament. “OT - The High Priest who went into the Holy of Holies had to be without sin.” You misunderstand what is going on here. The High Priest did not have to be sinless, he had to be ritually pure. Jesus Christ is the only human who was sinless, and that is because He is God who assumed a human nature. Jesus was without sin, and He entered the true Holy of Holies in Heaven. “NT - John the Baptist baptized the believer for the forgiveness of their sins; after the believer repented.” Again, you misunderstand what was going on. John the Baptist baptized people as a sign that they were repenting of their sins. Jesus Had not yet established the New Covenant with his own blood, So the Old Covenant was still in force during John the Baptist’s lifetime “Who did the believer confess their sins to after this encounter?” Since the Old Covenant was still in force, they still had to make sacrifice at the temple. Part of that involved confessing their sins to the priest so the priest could make sure they had brought the proper sacrifice. “[Jesus’s] Forgiveness of sin was a one time encounter With an individual for their salvation.” Again, you misunderstand. Until Jesus died on the cross, the Old Covenant was in full force. Even if you believe in eternal security under the New Covenant, You must acknowledge that under the Old Covenant people were not assured of their salvation. If people sinned after they met Jesus under the Old Covenant, they would take their sacrifice to the temple and confess their sin to the priest there. The Apostles confessed their sins to each other or to a bishop once they had established bishops as their successors. In the Church age, we know for a fact that we are confessing our sins to a sinful priest. The priest does not have to be sinless in order to effect the sacraments. No sacrament of the Church depends on the personal holiness of the person administering the sacrament.

@@tryingnottobeasmartass757 While I think that it is great that took the time to help clear up the two points and go further to discuss how the Catholic Priest follows a similar tradition to the High Priest as being ‘ritually pure’ after taking the Eucharist; at least I think that is what you were sharing… or that is what I concluded after a bit of thought. I think that it is a pity that the creator, as preacher; with very few comments to deal with, decided to ignore my comment. It always comes down to the laity… or other viewers to ‘get their hands dirty’ - so to speak. Again, I am thankful that you chose to share your thoughts in such a detailed manner.

Confession to priests by the laying of hands on a goat's head presented by Jewish Priest/s. LEVITICUS 16;20-21. Or Confession to another person started through Moses [about how to amend their lives] then thru appointed Elders/mini-judges. EXODUS 18;13-23. JAMES 5;16. NUMBERS 5;7 LEVITICUS 5;5-6. / // Then, Jewish Priests must offer an Atonement Burnt Offering even after Confession [to elders/goats] in order for sins to be forgiven. LEVITICUS 5;10. [Which is now alike in intention/s to our HOLY MASSES with JESUS CHRIST as the Spiritual Sacrificial "LAMB of GOD". "LEVITICUS 5;10" JOHN 6;53-54]. / It was said that High Priest Eleazar was able to offer to atone for sins of Israel from adoring Baal that his father Aaron accidentally stimulated but his ego [to be a sudden leader] was played by the evil one. Numbers 25;11-15. // But much later, LORD GOD the FATHER took away, CUT OFF HIS HERITAGE from the HOUSE of ISRAEL [aka House of Sanhedrin's of 70 Elders, Numbers 11;24-29]. ISAIAH 9;13-15 JEREMIAH 12;6-7, due to most probably what occurred in JEREMIAH 23;[the verses cannot be repeated but pls read all thru JEREMIAH 23] into which Israel earned "eternal reproach"! JEREMIAH 12;6-7, 23;40. EZEKIEL 20;3. ISAIAH 1;11-15. The Sanhedrin cannot anymore Represent the people nor Consult LORD GOD "forever", EZEKIEL 20;3, NOT even after many thousands of Burnt Offerings, AMOS 5;20-23, still they were reproached/dissolved/wounded. REVELATION 13;3. This was true centuries later when the Spokesman of Sanhedrin had emerged trying/insisting to revive the Sanhedrin [but it was labeled "to revive Israel" even if it is only for the Sanhedrin] using an unblemished red heifer cow, and in the rebuilding of the Third Temple to be above the ground [originally was underground where they held Burnt Offerings x centuries but no Messiah talked to them.] Rabbis, falsely label "Pachamama" to the Lady of Amazon and incited that Roman Catholics were sinful fools/crazy people, DEU 32;21; but we knew that they were mistaken because we only venerated the Saints. They forgot that long ago, Jews found the Saint: Queen of Heaven; but instead, they adored Her with their idols [Molech], ancestors princes/princesses which flamed again the anger of LORD GOD! JEREMIAH 44;17-18,22-27. And Jewish Spokesman said they will have their own Jewish Messiah anyone else besides, except JESUS CHRIST, and for all Jews, they strictly observed "NO to the TRINITY" [not acceptable, it was Blasphemy!]. Sanhedrin...Third Temple, 2018-2019. Reported by RISE or R$E. REV 13;3. DEU 32;21. / [Note, Discretion applies: Very important: NEVER to have any hatred because all of us sin, Jews or non-Jews alike. Big or small sins are equally the same as "sin" in the Eyes of LORD GOD.] / Going back to history, next, LORD GOD took off/cut off many Jewish LEVITES priests, EZEKIEL 44;10,13,15 + 48;11, except for HIGH PRIEST ZADOK and his Family Lineage as Successors [Exodus 40;13-15] to which Lord JESUS CHRIST was a Descendant, MATTHEW 1;14. Plus, JESUS, being a FIRST BORN MALE means that young JESUS was AUTOMATICALLY CONSECRATED to LORD GOD the FATHER as HIGH PRIEST to All ISRAEL. EXODUS 13;2 NUMBERS 22;28. Young Jesus was Anointed [dressed in Holiness] at 12 yrs of age by LORD GOD the FATHER HIMSELF; that was during when the Rabbis were all ASTOUNDED by the answers, questions, and DEEP KNOWLEDGE of young JESUS about the Deep Scriptures, earning Him the TITLE of a Young Rabbi, [Found at the Temple, LUKE 2;46-47], aka the VOICE/Prophet of GOD to Whom Israelites should listen to. DEUTERONOMY 18;15,18-19. The VOICE of the PROPHET of GOD is now Equal to Reading the Holy Knowledge/the BIBLE, Hosea 6;6 which, in turn, is the "Seal at the forehead of the people" who will be spared this End Time, REVELATION 9;4, JOHN 6;27, aka the "LITTLE SCROLL", REV 10;10, aka the Book of Law from Heaven, how can Israelites get it? DEU 30;10-14]. There is a PLENARY INDULGENCE in Reading the Bible. Fr Chris Alar. / Lord JESUS CHRIST was a Child...born a "FATHER-FOREVER" because the SPIRIT of the FATHER is with HIM, ISAIAH 42;1, since Birth in Bethlehem. ISAIAH 9;5-6, PSALMS 110;3, MICAH 5;1. // But, however, the Sanhedrin did not to recognize JESUS CHRIST, JOHN 1;11. Maybe because of the dark injustices that elders of Sanhedrin were doing at closed doors [Most probably: bribery-like on whom to support as Priests. And probably something done at closed doors resulting in women seen outside the House, crying to other gods for help!, EZEKIEL 8;10-14. But, people did not help, they were afraid of Sanhedrin. /Lesson: Self-defense, unintentional killing, or Justice by policing/army [on the righteous side] could be pardoned by exile to safe refuges. EXODUS 21;13; But pre-meditated murder, debauchery deserve Death. EX 21;14. Sanhedrin at closed doors was the start, precursor of Mason [leadership by terror, killing in secret], Babylon-bribery, and false talks! /// Then, Lord JESUS instead Offered Himself as a Servant as a LAMB of GOD, ISAIAH 52;13-15, 53;7, in reparation, atonement for the sins of Israel and all Spiritual Israel. LEVITICUS 5;10. The HEAVENLY FATHER accepted the Offerings of His Servant: the Lamb of GOD, "JESUS CHRIST", ISAIAH 52;13, 53;7; and then, the FATHER EXTENDED/prolonged the LEGACY of Atonement of sins in the NAME of JESUS CHRIST among all His Offsprings. ISAIAH 53;10. That was the Legacy to ATONE was extended among His Apostles succeeded by the Pope, now a NATION of royal/holy, unblemished/ virgin PRIESTS, 1-PETER 2;9, REVELATION 14;3-4, who also were given the KEYS to Heaven. MATTHEW 16;18-19, REV 3;7. All became "SPIRITUAL ISRAEL" because all holy are the Property of LORD GOD the FATHER! What is the spirit is the Spirit's. But all those not so pure, in error, were placed in the Ban/Fence of LORD GOD, EXODUS 22;19 in order to be purified, to make it/them sacred [aka Holy Purgatory to Purge the sins of man]. / Roman Catholic is the Highest Mountain/ Church in SPIRITUAL ISRAEL among all the holy mountains/churches of GOD wherein all can offer their things about Heaven, and LORD GOD Said that HE will ACCEPT all of it there.! EZEKIEL 20;40./ IF the STATUES of the SAINTS were BLESSED [even the Statue of our LADY of the Amazon was legitimately Blessed, accepted by the Vatican. EXODUS 20;25, 25;22 DEU 27;4-5, NUMBERS 6;78, JOSHUA 24;27], then we RC should accept it as "ALLOWED" in Heaven. MATTHEW 16;19. The ROMAN CATHOLIC has NO attachment to worldly things nor worldly dominion; but that our ONLY Heritage is ONLY in Heaven. /// LORD GOD's last INSTRUCTIONS to ISRAEL was to LOOK/FIND HIM, no less than a GOD, in the Person of Lord JESUS CHRIST, in the place of a NATION/Church, DEUTERONOMY 12;21, of royal/holy unblemished/virgin Priests wherein Lord JESUS was/is adored as "GOD MESSIAH". DEUTERONOMY 16;5-6, 1-PETER 2;9 REVELATION 14;3-4. AMEN. I believe that the HOLY ROMAN CATHOLIC Church was also born [besides ADORING our LORD GOD MESSIAH, JESUS CHRIST] in order to BLESS/EXORCISE ISRAEL from the Curse of Baal and especially the curse of Molech passing children under or by the "fire" of Molech which Israel inflicted upon their [usually disabled] children and all their children's children to the point that they cannot reverse back the curse anymore. JEREMIAH 19;5, 32;35. ISRAEL must "SUMMON" the Roman CATHOLIC Church, ISAIAH 55;5. DEU 12;21, 16;5-6. Only then that Israel will retrieve back the House of Israel but only under HIS HOLY NAME: JESUS CHRIST. PHILIPPIANS 2;9-11. > JEREMIAH 12;15, ZEC 13;1-6, And that the "Punishment due" to ISRAEL this End Time, EZEKIEL 7;1, AMOS 4;12, [DANIEL 4;25-31] will be taken away from them. ZEPHANIA 3;14-15.

Old covenant not New covenant. Christ is of the order of Melchizedek. Who had no mother or father or beginning or ending of days liken to the sin of God. 1 john chapter 1 v 8-10. How can we have our conscience cleansed by jesus blood. And still confess to a sinful priest.diffrence between a priest and a apostle. Holy Spirit is our witness not a priest.

Thank you for sharing! And the verses before (James 5:14-15) say: Let him bring in the priests of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. [15] And the prayer of faith shall save the sick man: and the Lord shall raise him up: and if he be in sins, they shall be forgiven him. ] "Confess therefore your sins one to another": That is, to the priests of the church, whom (ver. 14) he had ordered to be called for, and brought in to the sick; moreover, to confess to persons who had no power to forgive sins, would be useless. Hence the precept here means, that we must confess to men whom God hath appointed, and who, by their ordination and jurisdiction, have received the power of remitting sins in his name. All God's Word in Sacred Scripture must be examined , not just in part but as a whole📖

@@cathyperez1939 James 5:14-15 KJV Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: [15] And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. - ELDERS not priests or priest if we have to be rigorous. Don't ignore the phrase "one to another, and pray one for another", it's mutual, so your practice(one way, lay person to priest) is WRONG.
