Do bent AIO radiator fins matter? Plus how to fix them

In this video I'm talking about all-in-one cooler radiator maintenance and what to do if you have bent radiator fins. Can you unbend them? What happens if you do? Will it leak. In this video I also cut a radiator apart, just so you can see what's happening inside and how the liquid flows. It's important to know that these systems don't often leak and simply having bent fins won't be a major problem.
But I'm also showing you that it's worth cleaning you cooler and how.

I feel like once I used the wrong length screws to screw in the fans into the radiator. Glad to know no liquid since the part beneath the screw is just a fin not a channel. Thanks!

Yea i agree. when i installed my arctic liquid freezer ii 280, i mishandled it but luckily it was so slightly bent that i could just easily bend it back

Could a can of compressed air bend the fins? I bought a new pre-made pc and didn't really gave it a good look, so fast forward almost 2 years later, my pc started doing a weird noise and I thought the front in-take fans that are mounted on the radiator must've gotten clogged and off axis. So I used a can of compresed air to clean the pc and I realised that a very few fins got completely bent.

Metal is good heat conductor and is used to take the heat away from delicate parts of electronics that produce heat, or from the cooling liquid that gets hot passing over CPU. The bigger the metal area the more heat can be taken away from the source. Fins serve exactly that purpose: to enlarge the area of metal sheet that takes away the heat. This video is illustrative demo of the radiator interior and its internal construction.
